anything that disturbs me makes me want to write about it.

I Meant It actually started as a rant on LJ. And then after the first paragraph it became a fic. And the plot of the fic continued to change as I wrote it.

First it was me ranting. Then it was baby Panic and Ryan wouldn't fess up to being gay. Then it was the right time frame, but the girl was Sarah. Then the girl became who she was, sort of nameless.

And I was made at, like, five people when I wrote it, including myself and Brendon and Ryan. So it's just a really angry piece, with a sort of heavy sigh toward the end.

The idea for Begina Again simply came from smoking a cigarette and listening to music, which I do a lot. A lot of lyrics make me think of storylines. This time I just decided to be brave enough to write it down.

Movies and men and music. Those three things are what inspire me the most. Movies because when I'm thinking up a new story, I always imagine them as movies, so I love drawing inspiration from other "moving stories". Men because I just love men. Not even always in a sexual way, but just in a way of I love the way they move, and speak, and think. They fascinate me. They're so... foreign and different, even their skin and the way they feel under your fingers. I love them. Music for all the typical reasons.

I get the weirdest inspirations which I end up running with and they turn into something completely unrelated.
My weirdest example would probably be Harlow Summerford which I got inspired to write after my mom told me about a writing assignment where they had to recreate Great Expectations and my mom wrote Pip as a runaway who got introduced to drugs and all these things. I was originally going to use that idea then I made Harlow less of a runaway and made him more kidnapped and Scratch was a lot more masculine and Harlow didn't like him. There was only Scratch, Harlow, Dewie, and Bobbi in that idea.
Then I watched Velvet Goldmine which made me get a lot more into glam rock and I decided to make Harlow gay and gave him some hero worship of Scratch, his brother's attractive friend. I added Mandi and ran with the idea.
I'm still running.

Dreams that I have that I wake up from and think "No, I want to go back to it!"

dreams, things that repulse me, and things that no one else wants to write about cause it's too taboo. basically, if it's frowned upon, i wanna write it.

I write about bands a lot lately.

My stories have a bit of stuff that happened to me, happened to others, with my prefered genre (slash), and the rest is all up to the basic idea I'd form when I get a story inspiration. I've noticed that I'm really into writting drama, even though I don't particularly like reading it.

this may sounds strange, but when i'm just out with my friends or watching a movie or doing anything, really, my mind will begin to wander. And when it does this, it starts looking and seeing things as if it were a movie, like little snippits of a film. not from a real movie, but if we're talking about something, i may be watching a little film in my head of what it would look like, and that's where it turns into a story. that's how i get my ideas to write, if that made any sense whatsoever

I like writing characters that are weak. Not as a character, but as a person. It makes me feel strong.

Dreams, people around me and experiences.

I don't seem to write about anything anymore. I write a few pages on paper and then sorta just... leave it.

When I'm thinking about past experiences, I tend to write things. My rant piece, Fucking Hypocrites, is a perfect example of that; I was angry with myself, upset about something, and I just wrote it.

But generally, what inspires me is reading over old conversations with my friends, putting my iTunes on shuffle, or seeing something that triggers a memory, and those can churn out anything from romance pieces to rants to me trying to figure something out and not particularly caring if it makes sense.

I usually get inspired by tragic things I hear about. Today, I got inspired by the release of the men, who were ten when they tortured and killed a toddler. It made me want to write, like nothing has in the past few months.

Lots of things inspire me to write, mostly the people around me and the things I love. Like, the first idea for Music Girl was inspired by my friend Michaela, and then the world that the story takes place in ended up being what I think the future will be if the world continues on the path it's going.

Hmm good question. I honestly don't know why I picked the genre I am in (gay romantic drama or something like that XD). I don't really think about the genre when I first write the story, I think I more about the message I am trying to send, or the plot line. But I guess if I had to catagorize myself, most of my stories are Romantic Drama, however I am trying to get into Horror right now.
