I have to be listening to unrelated music. Like, if I was to write a Tokio Hotel fanfic, then I would be listening to, like, Pink or something.

    Eating. :XD

Sitting in my chair without my legs dangling off.

I have a pad of paper with random unimportant facts in front of me. I've got all of my characters astrological signs and bios and stuff.

-Music. Music must be playing. And I would be singing along whilst I type.

I bite my bottom lip. If it's an emotional/important scene I tend to bite too hard, and if I'm not doing that I rub along the left side of my face, along the jaw bone, but up towards the ear. Which is actually a rather tender spot, I've discovered.

I make playlists for each of my stories on ProjectPlaylist, and I tend to just loop them whenever I'm working on that particular story. It helps me concentrate.

When I get in a funk, I like to go to photobucket and find pictures of people that look like my characters. Lol, just ask Feeling Failure. She gets emails all the time with "pictures" of my characters. XD

I have to have a glass of something to drink, too. That helps.

I listen to music when I write. It's an automatic reaction when I decide to write. I also chew my nails.

I listen to a lot of music, depending of the mood of the chapter. I also say the dialogue out loud to make sure it sounds like it flows. If I'm writing a hand movement, I tend to do the hand movement as I write it. I also dance when I'm writing...I'm not sure why.

I can’t sit in front of a computer without listening to music.
I don’t need it to write because when I write in a notebook I don’t need it.
It’s just when I’m at the computer, I get kind of restless and unfocused otherwise.
But one thing I always do is biting my fingers. That I always do no matter what I write.
And I write until I get stuck, then abandon the story. Then pick it up later when I feel like it.
And I read back what I’ve written so many times. I can change a word ten times just to get it right.
Also I can only really write when it’s dark. No idea why but it has to be dark.
Hm. What more. I go back to the character sheets a lot.
When I’m stuck on how to describe a facial expression I make it myself.
    Otherwise I frown a lot.

And that’d be all, I think. xD

I have to write in complete silence. Music confuses my mind, I guess. :XD Strange.
I'm chewing my pen as I'm writing this new story I'm working on now, so I guess chewing things.

I listen to a lot of music, sometimes song binge on certain songs, depending on if a certain chapter is inspired by a song or not.
I also play with my hair, but I do that a lot in general anyway.
I bite my lip, put pens/pencils in my mouth, and I also tend to scratch my scalp a lot.
If I'm taking a whole day to write I have to be in my pajamas, with food and something with caffeine to drink. I also have to multitask, so that if I get stuck I can think about something else.

I always have my mouth hanging open when I write, because that's what happens when I start to really concentrate and I forget what I'm doing. :XD
I play with my pen or scissors on my desk when I'm thinking, and I rub/scratch my forehead a lot. I can't ever listen to music or people talking in the background while I write, though, because then I can't focus.

I always have to listen to music while writing.
Withou music playing, I'd just sit there, frozen. Nothing to do because
there's no inspiration. I always need the music and I always play a song that goes
with the mood of the chapter. :cute:

I need music but usually that's the only kind of noise I can accept. Like for some reason, I can't write if my Dad's watching television out in the living room; I have to wait until he's asleep.

I think up most of my ideas at school, so my ideas just end up on random pieces of paper, or worksheets.

When I'm at home I sit on the floor and lean up against my bed, whilst I stare at the wall. There is no television, and sometimes there is music. Mostly its just quiet. I sit there and think, and I randomly jot down ideas.

I don't pace or anything like that.

When I write an actual chapter I usually say the dialogue out loud. Like if someone is saying "Oh My God I Hate You!" I'll actually say it. My mom thinks I'm crazy. I also mumble the words as I write them down.

    I do that sometimes.
One time I had a maths test that I finished so I started writing some little notes on the back, and then my teacher took it. And I was like " Can you please mark it now? And don't look at the back?"

My main writing habits are typos, incorrect spelling or forgetiing to put letters on the ends of words. I can't count how many time I've written the instead of they.

I always need to write down the chapter I'm working on on a sheet of paper before I start typing. It helps me organize my ideas.
I can't listen to music when I'm writing. I get to distracted and then the chapter never gets written.

I giggle. Insanely. Even if the story isn't funny in the slightest - then I giggle through tears.
I just did it right now. :XD
I really don't know why, and it's actually really creepy.

I make the facial expressions of my characters and I read my dialouge out loud, too.

I usually forget about my surroundings and I don't look around my room or anything. I change music and that's basically it.

Or I get distracted on another site or another story or something for eight hours and I forget about what I was writing in the first place. :grr:

I listen to really random music; sometimes it fits the chapter but most of the time it doesn't. I tend to listen to the same bands for the duration of a story, though.

I make facial expressions.. but only using my mouth. O__o.

I can never write anywhere but on the computer. I don't have the privacy I need when I'm at school or at home {unless I go to my bedroom, but that just bores me}, so I usually just sit at school thinking about scenarios and write down basic outlines on the computer as soon as I get home.

I tend to sort of play out the scene in my head several dozen times as I go along. Sometimes I'll even stop and stare into space to envision it.

And more often than not I forget about the callings of nature. Like eating, sleeping, and the bathroom. :tehe:
