Yes, adding more padding to the content of the layout should make the author's note farther away from the actual content

Also, if I understood correctly, the left and/or margin will uncheck itself if you reopen the layout file-thing to make changes. So it will uncheck itself every time you open that particular layout

Hm that's strange. Did you go to Text > Box > scroll down to Padding > find bottom > change 0 to 15 px or whatever number you prefer?

I could try! But be warned, I haven't updated my profile layout in a year

Yup, thats what I thought it would be as well but it ended up just making the padding under the authors note bigger.

Haha, well this is the first layout I've ever made so I'm reasonably happy with it, although the picture I have at the bottom of my layout is right up against the text/content box where as I would like it as the top photo is, with the small gap in-between.
For the life of me I cannot work out which piece of code gives that gap

Okay so I checked out a layout I used for a poem and it looks like this so I think you can't really do anything about the space between the content and author's note sorry I couldn't be any help!

For a gap around the picture so it's not right next to the content box itself, add a white border around it! EDIT: can I see what you're talking about? I'm slightly confused

Sorry, photo bucket decided to take a million years to upload
So Ive drawn arrows where the issue is, the top part is all good, but the bottom picture as you can see is right up against the white content box.

so I you try going to text > box > scroll to margin and then adjust it from there

deleted all of my things, I think. I've also turned off notifications and things. I'm not sure if you actually delete accounts, but I haven't actively used my account in years. I just found an old email account full of notifications from this website. xD

I'm creating a story layout and I wanted to know how people make it so that the chapter titles aren't numbered on the summary page?

In the layouts screen:

Chapters > Text > Change 'Transparency' under 'Color' to 100% or change 'Color' to match the background colour you've got.

I have an orange message alert but no new messages on my profile. I have deleted the two messages after reading them, but the alert is still there and it’s bothering me. Any advice? I’ve t4ied logging out and logging back in.

Go to the end of your messages and see if there's an unread message sitting there. Sometimes Mibba glitches and will send a message with no content, and it'll go to the end of your inbox.

Sooo, I woke up to 32 or so messages from myself and two others. I deleted most of their messages just fine, leaving one of each. But the messages from me won't seem to delete, I've tried logging in and out. The heck do I do.

You can imagine my surprise and confusion after waking up to that.

Nevermind, it fixed itself. Still wonder why it did it. Mibba why are you such a tease

I just wanted to know how to put pictures in the author's note to show readers what something looks like.

Hm, I don't think you can post images in the authors notes, because sometimes it can be big

I have to ask....is there anyone who's not getting emails when a story updates? I haven't received any in the last 2 days and when I check for new stories, I've noticed that some stories I'm subscribed to are getting updates, but I'm not being notified. I also got an email from Mibba asking to confirm my new email address, but I never changed it.
