Do The People We Write About Actually Have Accounts?

This is part of why I'm creeped out by famous pairings nowadays. If I were famous and I happened to stumble across, say, Mibba, and found stories about me getting it on with another famous person; a band member or someone... I'd be more than disturbed.

I'd probably laugh though. Y'know, if it wasn't an extremely horrible one (in both content or way it was written).

Anyway, I don't really write much fanfiction that isn't slightly tongue in cheek or so mental that it's hard to decipher what is going on. Or it's fairly canon. I dunno. Most of my fanfics are based on fictional characters anyway. I have written a few that aren't (A few that are for competitions and are so AU that you have to squint to realise it's them...) but even so.

Someone spammed Panic and their bodyguard with my bagel fic a few months ago. I believe Brendon has been spammed with the milk fic as well. It just amuses me.

I think if I were to ever become famous, I would encourage my fans to write fanfics about me. Just out of curiosity, ya know? I'd just want to know what kind of wierd freaky things they'd make me do. ^_^
I think I would be mortified if anyone I write fics about read them though.

While I wouldn't not write out of fear of my stories being read, I'd be mortified if anyone in the pairings I've written stumbled upon my writing.

I think about this sort of thing at random. Also, I think if I was to ever get famous at anything I'd keep my Mibba account even if just to lurk.
It'd be great to catch people writing fic about you and you could just comment random stuff like, "I dunno. I don't think she'd do that. I'm sort of an expert." and then never explain your sources or something like that.

Also, I would like to add. If anyone I even kinda like from bands gets discovered on here or gets wind of fic on here, I might delete all my bandfic and hide under a rock.

My theory is that it's not only the stories they'd have to beware of, but some of a band's respective threads as well. I know sometimes those of us who post in the Avenged SEvenfold thread have our creepy fangirl moments every so often.

The stories though would be the bigger concern. Luckily in a recent thing I saw where M Shadows was answering fan questions, he apparently doesn' tknow what Fanfiction is, and some fans responded with "Don't ever find out!" I think if I ever met them, I'd stop writing A7X fanfiction. XD I've wanted to write fanfiction of anothe rband I love, Madina Lake, but I've met them, I've talked to them, I've actually had conversations with them, so to write fanfiction with them would just be weird to me.

It is interesting to know what kind of reaction that the people we write about have when they find out, even though I'm not sure whether their manager would let them post a reaction about it or something. It's gonna be pretty interesting, though.

And a bit creepy.

Imagine them saying, "[your Mibba username here], I've read your fan fiction about me."

Then all hell breaks loose.

Because, you know, I don't know whether I should freak out and cry and shouting at the sky or bowing in a rather thankful manner while saying, "Thank you so much for reading my fan fiction about you. It might not portray the real you in a correct way, BUT YOU READ IT I CAN'T EVEN SKAJSKSJDKDEJKF."

Artists have mentioned fanfiction in interviews. One of my stories got mentioned by Alex Gaskarth, so that was kind of cool. I saw some things Daniel Radcliffe read in reference to actual fanfiction summaries read on a TV show and I was amused/impressed. It's interesting when they talk about it. Generally, they don't care.
