Got Caught?

  • Whenever I'm in the middle of writing something, and I don't like people reading unfinished stuff, everybody wants to read it. But when I'm done writing, and begging for a reader, nobody's interested! It's annoying as hell XD

  • I remember ages ago when I was writing a one-shot for Frankie, my Dad read it. I was so embarrassed. Facepalm It was a slash as well. He just kind of looked at me and said, "oh right. Carry on." lmfao

  • In my first year of secondary school I was like, in love with Gerard Way and I wrote a vampire fiction with him in it. It was so horrifically written in first person and some vampire overlord had to fight Gerard for my character. It was total rubbish.

and my mates found it and wouldn't let me live it down for the rest of the year xD

  • Alex:
There are] intimate stories about me and Jack. If you are writing this and you are a writer of those, I feel awkward! Stop it! I will pay you to stop writing those stories about me! . . . There's another one featuring me and Ryan [Ross] from Panic At The Disco. That one's pretty hot."
That's freaking insane! I want to read it now haha. What's it called?

  • When I was in 4th grade, I used to do these fantasy graphic novel/comic book things. (I think I filled about 30 notebooks all-together with just this series.) Well, I wrote a chapter which was extremely sexually graphic (at least for a 9-year-old, and it had some graphic drawings as well). I felt a little guilty for writing it, but liked the idea, so I decided to let the idea sit for a week before making a decision to throw it away.

A week later, I looked at it again, then threw it away, just feeling so embarassed, and my mom wasn't at home when I threw it away. Well, she came home later that night, having been at some sort of environmental responsibility seminar (she was a college student at the time) and decided that she would go through the trash. Unfortunately, I was in my room listening to the radio and reading when she did this, and well. . .you can guess what happened next.

    I straight died. Facepalm

  • When I was in high school I used to write fics in a notebook during class and one of my frenemy's? I guess she would be? was in the class and she used to tell me to stop writing emo poetry and whatnot. This is when I wore almost entirely black and wore like, literally, Black Parade-esque eye make up... yeah I was cool. Anyway, I was writing one of my first fanfictions and it was absolutely god awful. It was a Gerard Way/OFC pairing and it was just horrendous.

Either way, she leaned back to see what I was writing and read the words aloud 'Gerard and Katie giggled' Facepalm I was so embarrassed.
Also, my parents read one of the first ones that I wrote and it (like every other horribly written Gerard/OFC) featured a girl who got beaten up by her boyfriend and had a horrible family. They assumed it was written about them and tried to send me to a shrink. It was just great.

Then I'm pretty sure that my dad found a link to the role play that I used to do which comprised of about two years of archived sexual exploits between the members of MCR. Yet another Facepalm I guess I wasn't as sneaky as I'd originally thought.

  • Back around eighth grade, I was writing this god awful, horrendous Panic! fanfic with an OFC, and one night, I left the notebook I was writing it in sitting next to the computer, wide open.

Apparently, that was a bad thing, because my dad ended up reading the entire fic, or rather, what I had written of it (which was about six chapters), and when he came home from work that day, he mentioned that I had left my notebook sitting out.

And then he not-so-subtly told me that the story I was writing was really good.

I was so embarrassed that my dad had read fan fiction, I about died. Facepalm

But thank god, he didn't know that it was fan fiction. And to this day, I'm pretty sure he's still unaware that I write fan fiction, and that it's pretty much strictly slash at that.

As for my mom, I'm not completely sure if she knows or not. I mean, I'm not exactly sneaky when it comes to hiding what I write from my parents, but she has never mentioned anything to me, so I'm pretty sure she doesn't have any idea that I write gay fan fiction. (At least, I hope she doesn't know.)

  • I am experiencing a almost caught moment right now.
My computer freaked and I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to get my documents off of it, but it worked for like 10 minutes and I got the stuff on it.
I just realized that it's on a flash drive in my dad's room. On his desk.
I don't remember if there was anything..smutty on it. I really hope not D:

  • I was talking to my Humanities teacher earlier this year I had come in early and was getting help on the stuff I missed. Either way we ended up talking bands and then got onto the topic of Guns N' Roses.

Then we ended up talking about fan fictions in relation to Guns N' Roses and he said he found a really good fic. Proceeded to turn onto his computer, open the internet, go to mibba and go to one of my stories.

It was awkward telling him I hadn't read the fic he was talking about, I wrote it. File

  • In like, 7th grade, I would write stuff in my notebook during class. And one of my friends wanted to see it and stole it from me and read it. I was scared she'd make fun of me (it was Harry Potter), but she didn't even look at it. She read the stuff in the front of the notebook, which was probably notes between people.
I felt so stupid for spazzing.

  • Back in my sophomore year of high school, I was writing this story and I was really proud of the whole concept which was that a friend commits suicide and then it's about the other's having to move on. The story concept was only part of the problem. The story itself was named Suicide and when my mother and a close guy friend she had caught it, they both freaked out and thought I wanted to commit suicide which wasn't even close.
