So, this site launched recently. I went to high school with someone who's interning for it. Or the company behind it, or something. I'm not really sure. Thoughts, anyone?

It kind of weirds me out because it's like...corporate. I dunno. I like Mibba.
Figment is actually pretty cool. They host new contests weekly, and you can win some awesome prizes there. They also have a thing for stories that you can submit reactions. I think they're "wow," "laugh," "shiver," "cry," and something else.

But Mibba still has the upper hand I feel 'cuz you have more control over your layouts and you can have any type of content. Figment doesn't accept really violent or really detailed smut stories, which kinda sucks, but I'm sure that rule's there 'cuz you can't rate your stories.

I think Mibba surpasses them all. I think its only downfall is there are too many bandfics. \: I'm glad we have an original fiction section now, because I don't have to search as hard to find something I'd enjoy reading. Clap

^^Livejournal and Fanfiction.net have good fics too. That is, if you want to escape the real-people fanfics and go to old fashioned book, anime, show, etc fiction XD
Don't forget people there are authors on mibba with wonderful fan fic. Quizilla is a sellout because of how ridculous it got along with all the terrible fan fic.

inkpop.com is pretty cool, but not for fan-fics. it's more original fiction than anything, but mibba is the best i've found by far!

Wattpad.com. It's a pretty amazing site. Also theey have a copyright system and stuff. I'm caught in between here and there because Wattpad has thing the Mibba doesn't and Mibba has things Wattpad doesn't. They even each other out Smiley Smiley Smiley

I have to agree that Mibba is pretty awesome, but it does have some competition.

Wattpad has alike features, and it's a bit easier to navigate. Not as social and fun as Mibba, however.

I don't really like Fanfiction.net and Fictionpress, but unfortunately Fanfiction seems to be the most populated writing site around.

    There's also Goodreads and Quizilla.

Um teenink.com is pretty cool.I'd say wattpad.com,inkpop.com, and mibba are better.Mibba is my favorite an the most I update on because I get more feedbacks, and more people help me correct my gramar an spelling here. The others I am a critique on but here I fill free to write what I want and share it with my growing readers.I feel comfertable with this website an it is by far the best out there in my oppinion.I've checked out the others and most of them feel like they are just trying to form us into adult boring writers when the point of teen writers is our unique style of writing.I can honestly say I love reading unique teen books more then the adults trying to "fit in" with the teenage thrillers.Teenage writers have more imagination an creativity in my oppinion and mibba gives us more of a chance to see that.I love this website ALOT more.

Honestly, one of the best sites for fanfiction is archiveofourown.com. I think it's better quality because you can't just sign up on a whim - there's a wait list to be accepted onto the site because it's in beta. You can also post podcasts, which I think is really cool. They're going to be getting an art section, too. So it's like, a fan works site, not just for writing, but I don't think I've ever read a fic on there that I thought was terrible.

I tried Wattpad and hated it. They don't have any quality control at all. Some of the stories were written like : " hey! My name is lizzie nd im totes in luv wit one direction they r so hott ;)" I also tried Figment but people were always spamming and trying to get votes for their stories. File

I joined Mibba, because the ease to publish the stories, compared with the wordpress.com, where it's just a blog? no real feedback I can recall.
Basically left DeviantArt.com, when I had too much problems to stay logged on, as I browsed the site, guess they've improved since that.
Yet, it's not a site for written art, it's basically for graphics.
I love the friendly spirit here, I never got into any problems with people, even if it got a bit tense on occasion.
Love to socialize on occasion. Makes for a few good friends, not to mention added exposure, since people see my name on the site.
Maybe there are a few issues here, that could be fixed, but as it was mentioned, updates do come, from time to time.

I feel like most of Mibba's quality control comes from the userbase we have. As long as someone follows our story rules, they could still post a terrible story, but Mibbians don't read stories like that and they don't shy away from constructive criticism like some other sites do. And I'm glad we have such a high caliber of users.

I totally agree with this. I tried wattpad and didn't quite like it, and even though I really like figment, the moment you post a story, there are people who comment on your profile (for me, at least) who want to comment swap with you. There doesn't seem to be a lot of people who just comment on a story without expecting something in return.

Wattpad has been downgrading. You can't find a story that doesn't mention some type if boyband, especially one direction. I went for quotev to wattpad to here. I admit that I hated Mibba at first but I like it better than wattpad. I only use wattpad because I have friends on their and I like their copyright.

    For people into K-pop, J-pop and doramas, there's Asianfanfics.com

But a lot of the stories there aren't that good :c

Any websites I've heard of have been named already, except one.

Just... avoid Wattpad. It's pretty much just... crazy people. xD More so than fanfiction.net. Nothing is as homey as Mibba. I'm glad I'm back.
