@disenchantments. No they're not touring in Australia yet, but when they do I'll hopefully go see them, and drag my husband along lol.

I have seen them live three times before though. 2005, 2012, and 2013. And I got to meet them in 2012 and 2013 :)

Awe, that sucks. Hopefully they'll have a date in Australia soon. Cute

I've seen them twice. Once in 2005 and then once in 2011. I got to meet Chuck and David during the 2011 one.

Has anybody else listened to Opinion Overload yet? Crazy It's making me so unbearably excited for the new album. Shame my preorder will probably arrive at some point while I'm away in Turkey, so I'll need to wait until the 21st to hear the full album. Rolling Eyes

Also, I'm travelling down to London to finally see them for the first time ever in March and I'm extremely excited for that too! It's costing me on average of about £300 to get me and my sister accomodation / travel there (plus there's the 8 hours of travel), but I don't even care. They're finally playing a date I can actually go to and I am beyond happy about this all. tehe

Me as well! The guitars just make me so happy, and the gang vocal levels on this new record are shaping up to be awesome. Love me some gang vocals. Weird

It's crazy good. I'm not 100% keen on Kiss Me Like Nobody's Watching (and to a lesser extent, I'm still unsure of I Don't Wanna Go to Bed but David's bassline 100% saves that entire song for me), but it's slowly starting to grow on me as a song and that's my only iffy aspect of the album. I'm super-excited about I Refuse and Everybody Sucks though, because the guitars on those songs are just so on point that it makes me undeniably happy. I also love I Dream About You as a closer for the album. It's just so different from everything else they've done and it does have this wonderful dream-like tone to it. Overall though, some solid songs. Still prefer the older albums, but this is something new and exciting and I'm absolutely looking forward to seeing the songs in a live setting. tehe

What about you, any particular stand-out songs on the album for you?
And on a slightly unrelated note, the postman tried to deliver my pre-order on Friday when nobody was in and now I have to wait until tomorrow until the post office opens back up so I can go and collect it because I literally just got back from Turkey today.

I just want my butt poster. Grr

I actually really liked Kiss Me Like Nobody's Watching, XD though I completely agree about I Don't Wanna Go to Bed. I Dream About You is so so lovely. In Love In Love Besides the songs that you already mentioned I really enjoyed P.S. I Hate You and Farewell. Those two songs(plus I Refuse, and Everybody Sucks) had me singing and dancing along to it. Problem Child pretty much broke my heart though. I also loved all of the artists that featured on the album. Thumb up I'm so jealous that you're going to be seeing them live soon~! Crazy

Sucks that you have to wait for your pre-order though! Thumb down

I just feel it's a bit weak as a song, I don't know why. I don't even dislike it, I just like it less than the rest of the album. lmfao It has grown on me a little though, so maybe it's one of those songs that I have to listen to a few times before I get to like it! IDWGTB is literally just bassline for me. I'd actually really dislike it without the bass, but it's just so funky that I can't dislike it. lmfao It is! Juliette Simms' voice really works well with Pierre's and the harmonies are just so beautiful. In Love Those are both awesome songs, for sure. It's just a really feel-good album. I feel like a lot of it has gone back to the happy-go-lucky stuff they used to do, which is making me super-happy. tehe They have some wicked artists featured, I wasn't expecting that! I'm seeing them in about a month, but I'm having to travel to London to go and see them because they didn't announce tour dates in Scotland. I'm hoping they announce more towards the end of the year and include Scotland because going from never having seen them to having seen them twice in the one year would be awesome. XD

It was worth the wait though! Got my butt poster for my wall, super-exciting times. Weird and the CD but whatever

I personally feel that TOFTT is the band's best album. Tied with SNGA. My favourite songs though are Opinion Overload, Singing in the Rain, Problem Child, I Dream About You and Boom.

I posted my thoughts in my blog section, though if you want to read my full thoughts on the album.
