Long Hair

There's a thread for short hair, so I figured, why not one for long hair?

I've always remembered my hair being long. It's at my waist currently, as it has been for years. I get a trim every now and then.

Most of the time, I wear it up in a messy bun, ponytail, or down with a headband. Sometimes I'll pull my bangs back and make a mini-ponytail in the back or my hair, or just grab a clump of hair from the back of my head and make it into a teased ponytail.

For shampoo, I use anything that's Aussie. It's gotten my hair really strong. For conditioner, I used Aussie Moist Conditioner. It makes my hair so soft, I find it hard to keep my hands out of it!

Anyone else care to share their favorite styles, products, etc. for long hair?

I have long hair,
and it has been for a long time.

I never put it up...it's always long, but I usually tease it with a poof at the top.

My favorite products are all Pureology products ('specially the SuperStraight and Volumizers!), Bed Head Superstar, and Aussie hair freeze. <3

I used to have ridiculously long hair. And then I cut it.
No regrets tbh. I think shorter hair is easier maintain. Longer hair just got in the way of everything.

Mine was to my belly button last year. Now it's about six inches shorter. I cut it a several months back and got another trim before school. I miss having it that long, but it desperately needed it.

I wear it down almost all the time. I've got a side part that I started wearing in like 8th grade and it looks better than a center one, just because it's so plain and symmetrical and BORING if it's a plain center part with just long straight hair. Yes, my hair is straight. Everyone automatically assumes I straighten it like everyone else does. Kinda annoying; is it against the law for my hair to be natural?

Anyway, I've used Aussie, it smells delicious. I wanna get more. Lately I've been using Suave products for my hair. My cat loves my conditioner. :tehe: She like eats my head when I use it in the shower.

I used to have really long hair, but then cut it extremely short over the summer.

I'm now growing it back out. Long hair is more attractive, I think.
Plus, if it gets in your way you can just put it up in a pony tail or whatever and be done with it.

Ahw! You look good both ways, but I think the shorter hair suits you best. :]

I have really long hair. =D
And it's curly, so if I straightened it, it would be even longer.

Only problem is it gets in the way. e_e

I leaned over the bathroom counter, and my hair was hanging down... and the end of it got caught in the candle. A part if it burned off. xD It's ok because I snipped it off and you can't even tell.

Maybe it's time for a hair cut.

I had hair down to my waist when I was younger.
Now, it barely touches my neck.
Lol.
But I'm growing it out. I want it to be down to my chest.
I just can't find any good pictures to show my stylist so she can trim it so it'll grow the right way.
I'm looking for it parted in the middle but with obvious bangs.

I used to have really long hair
and then I got the bob. Truthfully though I miss my long hair.
But then again i'm just not used to short hair because I had long most of my life

Mines right below my collar bone, and i'm trying to grow my hair out like 5 more inches. it takes FOREVER.

Mine ends about three or four inches above my waist and I love it. It's really hard to maintain though, as it's dead straight and really tangly so in the morning I end up with mini dreadlock type of things, so I have to spend about half an hour brushing it out. :roll:

My hair is pretty long, I guess. It comes to about two inches below my shoulders.

I want to get it past my boobs though. Lol. But my hair takes forever to grow. I got it cut chin-length last year, and it's taken about fourteen months to grow out to the length it is now. Any tips on making it grow faster?

My hair used to reach my waist, but then in 8th grade I decided to change up my hair, and got it cut short, till it barely reached my shoulders. I although I adore my short hair, I miss how long it was before. So I'm gonna grow it out till it reaches my elbows (yes, I want it that long), then decide what I want to do with it. It's shoulder length right now. It's taking forever to grow.

And I'm with Flightless Bird; on this one. Anyone know how it'll grow faster?

People tell me I have long hair, but it's not super long, like, down to my waist. The longest strands go to about my mid-back.

I have really thin hair, so it's all weird. I like it messy. Sometimes I don't wash it or brush it for a while, and it kind of dreads naturally.

When I wash it, I only use conditioner. I don't even know why. It's just kind of compulsory.

When I wash it with Herbal Essences, it gets really fluffy and frizzy. I tried Loreal's Vive the other day, though, and it calmed the frizz, and it was pretty straight. A lot more straight than I'm used to, at least. I have really curly tips, too, but not even the mighty Vive could control them. :tehe:

I want to grow out my hair really long, then get dreads again (I had dreads in eighth grade). I think that'd be rad!

My hair used to be right down to my arse, but I cut it a few years back shoulder length and it's been around 3/4 inches past my shoulder. I want to grow it out again but it's sooooo much effort.

I miss it but the most amazing feeling is when you get loads cut off and your hair suddenly feels really light and weightless. :tehe:

I'm trying to grow my hair out, but I had it cut to like 1 inch short last year, now it's only just got to my shoulders, it's gonna be time before it's grown long :(
