I'm trying to grow my hair out, but I had it cut to like 1 inch short last year, now it's only just got to my shoulders, it's gonna be time before it's grown long :(
    :arms:
    It's the same with me.
It grows like, 3inches per year :XD

I used to have a bob until I was like 11 and then I grew it. It's almost past my boobs now, but the ends look a little uncared for. I love having long hair butit can be such a pain to look after sometimes.

I've been trying to grow my hair for three years.
seriously, it hasn't had much progress.
    it's about boob length.
It's curly, so when it's straightened its a bit longer, but I want it like waist length, someday.
I just wish it'd grow faster.

^ My hair grows fast, too. I had it super short in October - the back was probably an inch long. Now, it's two and a half. It'll be a while, though, until it's chest length.

My hair was really short about a year ago, and now it's growing out. I think I'm going to keep it long for awhile, and then cut it again.

My hair used to be like wicked long. I just recently cut it. I like it better this way because it's less frizzy. My old hair used to frizz so much that I looked like those middle-aged motorcyclist dudes that grow their hair out. :XD But what's weird is I think it grows faster when it's longer.

There isn't any 'miracle hair growth' thing, but eating protein-rich foods encourages growth, as does brushing it well a few times a day. Scalp massages once or more a week are meant to stimulate hair follicles and make it grow faster. And if you have damaged hair (dyed, bleached or hair that is straightened or curled every day) it tends to grow slower. Oh, and eat healthily and take vitamin/mineral supplements :)

You can get special hair growth supplements, but the majority of those don't work too well or not at all and can be pretty pricey.

But if you want long hair instantly, your best bet would be extensions as nothing else is going to get your hair dramatically longer in a short period of time :/

I have long hair. I hate it. It's not layered or anything. It comes down to a bit below my shoulders, and gets in the way of everything. I have to plait it for work or horse competitions, and always have it tied back at school. Just my luck that I have a psycho control freak mother when it comes to my hair who won't let me get it cut. ._.

Giving scalp massages doesn't make your hair grow faster. Yes, it stimulate the follicles for healthier hair. And oilier. Not for growing faster, though.
Nothing makes your hair grow faster. I work at a hair salon, they tell me these things. Your genes determine how fast your hair grows. They also determine when it'll stop growing. Some people's hair still start to grow slower when it reaches a certain length.
Also, you'd want to brush your hair with a wide-toothed comb. Brushes and other combs may lead to split ends and cause hair to fall out if you're yanking the brush through.

I had long hair when I was a kid. It reached my butt. :cute:
Then I had it cut when I turned 12 and it's just gotten shorter since. xD

My long hair annoyed me lots, all split ends and just, no. >__>
And I got caught everywhere, like door handles, all the time. :tehe:
Problem is it grows so fast that when I cut it really short
the length doubles each month, it’s very noticeable.
But yeah, rather have it short than long still. :cute:

Eh, I'm training to be a hairdresser and they told me scalp massages promote growth so I'll ask about that, thankyou for clearing that up :)

^ I've been giving myself a scalp massage for nearly four months. It's not growing any faster than it has before. It sure has gotten a nice shine.

My hair grows so quickly. I want to go short, but I don't have the courage to.

Gosh, I go through so much shampoo every week with my long hair. :XD

I'm growing it again now though, although it frustrates me.
I get the urge to cut it off, but I'm determined to let it grow :tehe:

    My hair grows so fast.
About a month ago, I got my hair cut, my side bangs wer cut to my cheek bones, and now it's to my top lip. I want long hair, but I keep it to just under or in the middle of my boobs, sometimes above them and get it cut regularly so that it stays neat and easy to keep up with.
