^ I'm very tempted to do that, myself, actually.
I think I've had my fill of fan fiction.
Original fiction interests me so much more these days. :cute:

Yeah, that happened to me as well. Wrote my first strory, happy. But like, half way through, I didn't want to do it and things in the story went down as well. I think it would be a sort of phase though because persoanlly, when I do write, i do like it a bit...but then I lose interest again =S

I'm the exact opposite - I'm disliking OF's more than ever these days. I had no interest in OF's on the net in the first place, but yeah, less interest now. :XD

All the time. I love writing, it's fun. But it's a hobby to me, not a requirement and an ambition in my life. It's just not something I want to do with my life, but I like to make stories and sometimes take time to write them down for whoever wants to look at it... to look at it and maybe enjoy it too. My heart, my life will always be music and that's not going to change.

I don't really write for other people, I write because I need to. But I do lose interest. I often get asked to write something for my friends, and usually they're just sex scenes between themselves and a rockstar. I sit there like :| because I can never get it to be right and it often just puts me off.

I've never lost interest in writing, just reading certain things.
Like I used to LOVE fanfiction, but now I just really dislike it.

I feel like that a lot now. It's really easy to start stuff, but actually following through is difficult, to say the least. It's not that I don't have idea's it's just that I'm lazy and I'd rather dream about the middles and ends instead of actually putting pen to paper and actually writing it.

    my junk.:
Now, to be honest. I have no desire to complete any story I've got on Mibba. Simply because I don't want to write 'fan fiction' anymore. I like the plots, but I'm not fond of how they orientate around one band boy or another. I think I'm going to remove them all soon :shifty and maybe just write original one shots from now on.
It's not that I dislike them, but I have just started an original fiction - literally an idea I have never seen done before - and although that's my main story I want to write, I want to continue with my original fictions until I finish them.

What I find that with OF, you can be so much more talented with the character - you completely sculpt their personality, but with FF as people have their own opinions of the character, if it clashes with their opinion then they can dislike the story due to how you've turned the character. But with OF you don't have that to worry about.

So yeah. That's basically why I'm having trouble with writing some :XD

If I have an idea, I just write exactly what's on my mind, then when it's there, I try to fix it up. I don't like it when I try to fix it up when I still haven't written it all down and then I lose my idea.

I personally dislike those times. :(

that happens to me a lot, but then an idea comes to me and its just to much to ignor. normaly it happens when no one is commenting or when i am no longer intrested in my own work. its like its not worth updating because if its not important to others why should i care.

    ^ I'm the same.
I'll got through periods where I really, really want to write and then a week later I'll just not care about it. I lose interest in things really easily, but I always come back to writing :]

I lost interest in writing for nearly a month, which is a pretty long time for me. I just lost inspiration and basically said "Screw it." However, I think I was just busy a lot and when my schedule slowed down a little, I came back to Mibba and literally said, "Why did I leave?"

^ Hmm, that's how it is for me now. Even though it's holidays it's exam time and I can't seem to find the inspiration to write.

I'm just coming back after almost 2-3 months without writing. I feel like my schedule has a lot to do with it because now I'm a Junior and there's so many things I have to attend. I want to write, but I'm so tired. I still do keep up with my Mibba updates though. XD

I've never lost interest in writing. I've lost interest in Mibba, yeah, but never in writing. Ironically, when my schedule's at its most hectic, that's when I feel the urge to write the most.

My interest in writing hasn't died down, I've just stopped writing for periods of time because of writer's block. And school. But hopefully I'll never lose interest in writing.

I lost interest in writing for basically an entire year after I turned 18. Just got it back over the summer!
But I've always felt the need to write. Even if it's just taking notes or writing in a journal or whatever. As long as there are words I'm okay with it. It calms me down.

And I think it really depends on what you're writing. If you're forcing it, then maybe you should trying writing a different genre or make your characters more likable...
I've mostly been sticking to writing shorter stuff, because I don't have that much commitment as of late.
