    Huh...
    Sheep intestines.
    Sheep brains.
Every part of the sheep thats edible.
    Cow tongue. Lamb hooves...
Caviar (that stuff is nasty, I think)
    Octopus
    Eel
    Snail
Snail broth is the most amazing thing on earth.
    Frogs aren't too bad.
    Duck is okay.
Rabbit is kinda gross as hell.
Cow eye = someone shoot me. I do not recommend that at all.
    Dried meat preserved in fat.

The list sort of goes on and on...

Chicken liver. Do not recommend, but edible as long as you pretend that it doesn't taste like blood.
Fermented (as in housed in some shack for six months to rot) shark. No. Also do not recommend.
    raw squid tentacles. *barf*

Shark, seaweed, snails, sheep brain, beef tongue, Alligator , cactus fruit, cat tail stalks, rattlesnake, Jojoba nuts, Agave nectar, and all of it was pretty good. The single nastiest thing I've ever had would be Durian fruit. God it's nasty. Just wrong. This comes from a dude who eats organ meats on a regular basis. I don't list those, but assume if it's edible on a pig, goat, sheep or cow, I've tried it.

    Alligator-Cajun stuff.
    I love deer-jerky, but I wouldn't consider it exotic.

It comes with being a chef, I suppose.

I've tried fried calimari, not exactly my cup of tea. Neither was haggis. My dad loves the stuff. I'm just picky I guess.

    Sushi, once.
    Lobster.
    Duck.

I've been exposed to several different types of cuisines thanks to military upbringing and Upward Bound, but I stay away from weird ass food.

Older people in my family think it's absolutely ok to eat Schwarzsauer. It's soup made with pigs' blood and rests of pork, you know, that meat that can't be used for anything else, not even sausages. Yak

Not happy with it, people also make Blutwurst, blood sausages. We also have Leberwurst, a sausage made with pork liver and other meat that you don't really want to know.

There's also Sülze or Presssack, it's made with some sort of colorless gelatinous substance found in the head of pigs, sheeps, cows or calves after the brain is removed. Some sorts of Presssack are pink/red because people add blood to it. It's eaten cold and looks like some sort of very macabre jelly with disgusting pieces of meat in it. My mother loves to cut it into slices and eat it on bread.

Other thing people in my family like to eat is Schmalz, which is cold goose/chicken/pork grease and skin-fat, spread on bread.

And of course, I've eaten all of this stuff at some point in my childhood because at home you can't reject food before trying it out. And then throwing up to let your parents know you absolutely don't like it, because only telling them doesn't work .

Germans eat the most exotic (here meaning "gross") stuff in the world, I swear.
