Crackfics.

I haven't actually read any in a while, but I love looking for them. Sometimes the summary (if one is given) is better than I imagine reading the story would even be.

None of them show up on Mibba anymore though because I kind of go a bit over the top with them

I'm thinking of writing something that could probably be considered a crackfic. It'd be a "sequel" to the movie Straight To Hell, which was basically one big crackfic of a movie.

Make it hysterical and use a sh*tload of cliches xD

I love crackfics where famous people find or write fanfic about themselves. I came across one a while back where Pete sent Ryan a link to a Panic! GSF fic and it got him hooked, to the extent where he actually started writing his own fic. It was hilarious.

I tend to like crackfics. I'm not completely in love with them, but I do enjoy reading a few every now and then for a good laugh.

And as far as writing them goes.... I haven't written any, yet. But I'm attempting to write one, but sadly, it isn't very crack-y.

I actually wrote a Harry Potter crackfic where there was no wizarding world, and Harry and Ron were private detectives. It was really fun.

I read this fic where MCR, FOB and Panic! were ducks.
It was the most adorable thing ever.

I haven't read it, but I know there's a fic where Brendon, Spencer, and Ryan turn into kittens and Jon has to take care of them.

And genderswap pretty much rocks my world. Even though the sex scenes make me laugh so hard.

I'm actually starting to get ideas for crackfic again. Right now I'm playing around with some crackpairings in my head. I've also got two distinct plot bunnies. One is a semi-serious fic about what happened to the mysteriously retconned character of Lyman in the Garfield comics. The other is Sylar and Spock getting it on.
