    Eh, probably. But I generally only eat swede when my gran or mum makes Sunday dinner, when the swede is staring at you from it's own section of the plate.

    Mmhmm... I think the real problem is factory made bread.

    What you need is real bread made at a read traditional local bakery, not filled with preservatives, packed and shipped en mass.

    What kind of lettuce don't you like? there are easily two dozen varieties i can think of off the top of my head.

    The two most popular being romane and iceburg, neither of which are that great.

    However there are some really awesome varieties, frizze for example i just love, its so nice and crispy.

    Iceburg lettuce is pretty nasty i agree, it also has almost no nutritional value and is bad for digestion. Its the fast food lettuce of choice because its the cheapest to produce.

    Get your mom to buy any other kind of lettuce and it would be better.
