My current character in TS3 is the personification of my penname and she's an author and painter. tehe She's written 6 1/2 books so far and they've all been named after my stories.

I can't wait to get World Adventures and Ambitions. Inventors and mummies ftw. OMGYES

I love the sims games, I've got all the sims1 games on my computer and I play it whenever I feel nostalgic =D and I got all the sims 2 games too. Unfortunately my computer can't run sims 3, though I'm mostly just curious, the reviews weren't that satisfying.

I think this deserves to be revived.

I have Sims 3 and World Adventures.
I love it, though, I had to restart it as a result of technical difficulties.

I have Sims 3, World Adventures, and Ambitions.

Does anyone know if you can conceive kids in foreign places? I've tried and it just doesn't seem to work. OMFG my sim is unconveniently infertile in Egypt/China/France.

I tried for a baby in Egypt and I didn't get pregnant.
I ended up just inviting him to my home and marrying him into in the family.

Don't you hear the Lullaby if you conceive?

Yes, it is possible. I don't know why it seems to not be working for you... Think

You could always get fertility treatment to maybe increase the chances.

I tried that too, and it didn't work!
I really want to concieve and have a baby in a foreign country.
I've already gotten married in a foreign country, so that's crossed off my list.

For all those Simmers out there who have Sims 3, go have a look at this guy's mods and stuff.
They're amazing. Especially the Supercomputer and Story Progression ones. I probably wouldn't be able to play my game without them, so I thought I'd share them with all of you too! Very Happy

Last summer I was a Sims 3 addict. XD
I created every character from every one of my stories and even got sad when a few of them got old and died.

And a few of them mysteriously turned gay on me...Shifty

I got Sims 3 for my birthday after asking someone on Mibba if a Sims game was worth it.

Oh, it's worth it alright. I read a lot of negative stuff about Sims 3, but I am really enjoying myself. I love controlling the Sims and seeing them get along and fight and such. My home was already burglarized and my babysitter accidently set the stove on fire.

    I don't know how Sims 2 is, but I'm liking Sims 3 :)

Crazy I am a super Sims nerd. Ever since the first game came out, I've been an addict. I collected some of the expansions for the original game then I found the Ultimate Collection and bought it XD. My mother said: "Don't you have some of those already?" And I was like "Pfft, yeah. But I'm so buying it!"

I love the Sims 2, I only have a few expansion packs though. It's amazing. I download a heap of stuff from thesimsresource and just create people XD For some reason, any Sim I make loves getting married, having babies and cheating. I don't even click the romance or family aspiration Shifty

I'm going to try and buy the Sims 3 in two weeks XD IT SOUNDS AMAZING FROM WHAT ALL YOU GUYS ARE SAYING Happy face

^ I love the Sims 3 so much. When I first got it I was a bit... meh... about it, but it was just because I was so used to 2. It's soso much more amazing once you get into it, just the amount of things to do is endless. I've had it since it came out and I still haven't even started on half the areas the game has to offer, and everytime there's a new expansion there's like... another million things to do. XD

Hopefully I'm getting Late Night and Fast Lane for Christmas as I'm a poor student at the moment. :B

^ I have! It's okay, I got addicted to it for like... a couple of days. XD Doesn't have even a quarter as much depth as the real thing, and it gets pretty repetative. I think it's worth it, though, I can quite easily pass a few hours of my time on it.

^ Added you. Cute This is me.

I'm having problems with my wish list, it's not updating :( Really annoying when I've clicked some things by accident, and I also can't get rid of the things I've already bought. GRRrr.

I love The Sims. I have been in love with The Sims since the very first game. However, I fall in and out of kicks. I will play The Sims for about a week or so and get kind of bored of it and stop playing for a while.
