Game: The Sims

I used to be addicted to the sims 2 but then I grew up.

I love the Sims, but my computer doesn't have the proper system requirements to actually play. All I can do is build houses. (Not that I mind; I love building houses.)

I bought the Sims 2 Double Deluxe (The Sims™ 2, The Sims™ 2 Nightlife Expansion Pack, The Sims™ 2 Celebration Stuff Pack) and the Sims 2 Best of Business Collection (The Sims 2 Open for Business Expansion Pack, The Sims 2 H&M® Fashion Stuff, and The Sims 2 Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff.)

Though, I do have questions about system requirements. I don't really understand all of what they mean. My family wants to buy a desktop for the house, (I have a laptop) and I figured, why not get it with the right system requirements for Sims? But I don't know which desktop to buy. If anyone can help me, please message me.

I've got a lot of Sims games. 1, 2, and 3 for PC, Bustin' Out and The Sims 2 for Game Boy Color, The Urbz for DS, and Castaway for Wii. I love them all a lot! I've tried getting every one of the PC expansions but failed by about 2 games for both 1 and 2. Right now I have all of them for 3 though. :)

I preordered the new stuff pack for sims 3 a while ago.. its out tomorrow.... but as they do when you preorder online..it came today! :3 excited much!

Someone should revamp this thread. Just sayin'. It's getting kinda dry.

I'm excited for Pets as well. Been keeping up with the updates EA comes out with. I'm gonna be a childish nerd and make My Little Pony horses.

I love the Sims! It's always getting better.

Usually, I'll just play for like a week straight and then I'll get sick of it and stop playing for like six months. Then I'll pop it in again and create new people and I won't resurface for another week or three. ;D

I'm the same! I'll be addicted to it for short time and then just can't be bothered anymore.

SIMS! Sorry I really love Sims. Does anyone else do the challenges or do they just play? I'm doing a challenge right now called the 50 Foal Challenge. link It's really fun.

I love this game so much... it's the most fun I've ever had doing something so redundant and boring.
But it really accents human lives. The difference between one person to the next.
And sometimes we need that- exaggerated quirks, so we can understand our subtle differences.
And not to mention, its subtle mysteries for you to find, scattered in the abandoned areas of the town where no one else appears.
It's so layered. It is so lighthearted and cute, but it's secretly so deep, if you know where to look<3

I spent like... five hours, on sims 3 and made my first music video thing. Pretty damn pleased with it :D

I'm seriously addicted to this game.
I've been playing a new family for the past month or so, they have pets and everything.
Now's the first time I haven't really played it, of course writing this out is making me want to go play it, but it's really hot and I don't want to be stuck playing Sims all day.
Maybe when it cools down.

I got the Sims 3 off of my friend a few weeks ago. Oh gawsh ... never looked back since. May family - the Jones' has a insane mother, deviously evil father and two overworked teenagers who pay for the rent with the money they earn. Hahaha.

I have:
Gen 1: The Sims Deluxe.
Gen 2: Sims 2 Deluxe (base game+Nightlife), University, Seasons, FreeTime, Open For Business, Bon Voyage, Apartment Life, and I feel like I'm forgetting one... I have all the EPs but Pets. I also have Teen Style Stuff.
Gen 3: Base game, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Ambitions.

I only have Sims 3. I used to have a Sims game on my R4 for my DS before it broke, but it was a great game. Basically you live in a hotel and help out in running it but then the aliens land and you have to fight them and the robots. It was really weird, but cool. If anyone knows what it is, please tell me! I've never been able to find it anywhere since.

I love just messing around on Sims 3. I have one or two serious games where I'm trying to actually complete goals and things, but then I have others where I mess around with band members and book characters etc.

Oh, thanks! I've never really checked out the Sims 2 stuff, so it's no wonder I never found it

The only the Sims games I liked where 1 & 2. I never liked how the Sims looked in 3 - and 4 doesn't look any better... But I could play Sims 1 & 2 all day long haha XD
