A friend got my hooked on the Sims when I was like 12. We played one of the games on PS2. Since then I have bought some of the games (and still have almost all of them) on PS2, GBA, DS, 3DS, Wii, and PC. My fave is playing it on the PC because you can do so much more and download so much stuff. I actually finished My Sims Kingdom (Wii and sold it which is like 1 of 3 Sims games I sold) and Sims Bustin Out (PS2) is almost completely done. I amazingly actually decided to do the career mode and not mess around.

I own Sims Deluxe, all of Sims 2 (thank you Origin for all the free expansion/stuff packs...and the free Sims 2 game in the first place!) and Sims 3 Starter Pack for PC. Sims 2 is my favorite. I had[//i] over 10k items downloaded on my old laptop. If I could get it fix, I would love to play it again soon on there since I have only 200-300 items downloaded on my new laptop (but this laptop I have all the expansion packs.)

I know I still have Sims Bustin' Out and Sims 2 for GBA and PS2. The original Sims and The Urbz (used to have on DS as well) on PS2. Sims 3 on 3DS. I also had the Sims 2: Castaway on the DS. I also played Sims Social for a while.

I actually don't care for Sims 3 and probably won't get Sims 4. I also don't know how to play the Sims without using cheats. xD

My uncle actually got me hooked on the Sims. I love all the generations of them that has come out. But my most favorite is the sims 3. I love them. I own almost all of them. I am liking some. When my daughter is in school and my son is napping, that's my past time when I am not writing, ha. It's just so much fun. I own The Sims 3 for PS3 too, but I love the PC better because you can do WAY more on it than you can on the PS3 and it's easier to navigate. And cheats are the best way to sims now days, lol. I couldn't play sims without my cheats, LOL tehe

I honestly don't know how I started to get into The Sims, but I am so so glad that I did. I remember spending every moment of my childhood on the game. I used to play it on my Playstation 2, like, constantly. Looking back on it now, the graphics were absolutely terrible but at the time they were the greatest thing since sliced bread. XD

Now, I play The Sims 3 on my Mac. Unfortunately, it stopped working for me a couple of days ago and there's no way to work around fixing it, so I had to uninstall it from my computer. Of course, right after I find out that you can download all of these interesting custom contents to the game and make celebrity Sims. It was the most tragic thing ever. I don't have a PC to play it on, either, so it's super super bumming.

And what's this that I heard The Sims 4 isn't going to be available for Mac users? If so, that's super disappointing, and they're missing a lot of good customers. I get that the games aren't coded specifically for Macs, but you'd be surprised just how many people play it! I was hoping to start fresh, but I'll just have to settle with my Gamecube version of Sims: The Urbz.

My cousin got me into the Sims. She actually got my siblings and I into a lot of things I wouldn't have otherwise known about as a kid (Nintendo 64, Harry Potter, etc.). One of my favorite memories was deleting someone's entire house, putting up only a wall to attach like the toilet and sink to and making them live outside. For some reason it was hysterical to me.

I played the Sims 3 on the PS3 and I made this family I stuck with for the longest time because my two favorite Sims ever were a part of it. I accidentally got emotionally attached to them, oops. Anyway this one sim named Zeke he had all the craziest traits you could give a person and he was this really buff guy with long hair that had blue tips. And his brother, Thunderstorm was essentially a hippie. There were other people that were part of that family too but they were my favorite sims to use.

I own Sims 3 for PS3 and PC with no expansion packs on either.
Though I can only play the PS3 version because my PC sucks so hard it wont load the disk (and now I can't find the disk...) I was able to play the PC version once on my brother's computer and it was amazing. I loved how much more freedom there was with building versus in building mode on the PS3. Its great. I can't wait to get a better PC and the Sims 4 so I can play every day all day.

I wish I had the EPs for The Sims 2. :(

Once I wanted to build a haunted house, so I moved a family in a killed them all, then did the same thing over and over again with other families to make a graveyard and stuff. There's always ghosts walking around.
I may have done that too. . .

My friends think I'm psychopathic. I prefer the word 'resourceful'

How is everyone enjoying The Sims 4? Is there any stuff pack? Game pack? Expansion pack you are looking forward to? Or that you are in need off?

Hello! I think that Sims 4 is okay; I much prefer Sims 3, honestly, in terms of the world being open and the more free customisable aspects. I love the Sims 4 Create a Sim. (And that you have the option to breast feed!)

I haven't really thought of getting any packs for it; I've only got the base pack loaded onto my Mac at the moment. I think it'll take up too much of the limited room I have right now, and I still need to download applications for school on it.

What do you think about Sims 4?

I actually prefer the sims 4 over the sims 3. Mainly because it's a game that is also compatible with many lower class laptops. The open world of 3 made my computer crash on multiple occasions. Though I do miss the massive amount of tailoring you could do to make a house really feel unique. The options are lacking in 4, that is for sure.

So far I am only missing two stuff packs. As a house builder I only work with costume content that can alter my sims, but not my build mode.

I also really enjoy the community feature. I love sharing my work and watching what other creators have made, which will than inspire me to create other houses again.

That's fair enough. My family completely stripped one of our old desktops of everything but the Sims so that we were able to play it without it lagging and such. XD

Now that we've gone back to a somewhat closed world, my Sims never leave the house. They have their neighbourhood friends, but that's about it. I also dislike that lifetime rewards and that don't seem to be such a big deal? Having the Sims "want" something kind of gave a purpose to the game (that you could still influence).

I love building houses. I much prefer how houses are built in Sims 4, although I'm still learning how to do the whole ''rooms" thing with wall coverings and flooring.

I'm not a huge user of community features; with any edition of the Sims. I had a Sims 3 account for the website, but I never really used it.

Loading time to move your sims to other places is rather short within the sims 4. Though, I have to admit that I hardly moved them anywhere when I only had the base game installed. Now with different features, it's much more alluring to have your sims travel to different lots.

I never really did much with the life time rewards. I mean, I set up challenges for myself, or I look online at sims challenges. I think playing it just to play makes the game boring to some degree. I like testing my abilities, haha.

I know people put rooms onto the gallery, but I have to say that I can't seem to figure out how to make rooms look cute on their own.

As for the community. I like that it is now part of the game, instead of a separate website. You can go onto the gallery without having to leave the game, or switch between sources. It makes it a lot easier to place things within your game.

Hello. As I know a lot of people like such games like Sims. This gaming genre can be really funny. But personally I prefer to play something more exciting, for example poker on money. If you also want to try, look at this site, here you will find all necessary information!
