So if you're like me, you love to read. Maybe a little too much. There is always a book I want to read, but sometimes get distracted by another book I'm reading or really want to read.

So what are some books you would like to read, or that you would like to finally finish?

I really wanna read Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut. The plot itself isn't really my style, but I love his writing and considering he writes a lot of satire and that it's very present in this book, I think I'd like it. I'd also like to get around to read almost anything by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, because I love psychology and politics and a lot of his novels explore those things. I also have been wanting to read The End of Alice by A.M. Homes for a long time now, but never get around to finding it at the library. I own Catch-22 by Joseph Heller and want to finish it, because so far it's a great book.

    What about you?

I really want to read My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult (At least, I think it's by her), from what I've heard it's quite good.

I also want to read some Charles Dickens, I got one for Christmas. But I'm already reading a few books, so I have to wait until I finish them :file:

    Go Ask Alice.
    A Child Called It.
    I can't recall the authors.

The remainder of the Uglies books (I'm halfway through Specials).
    The Midnighters by Scott Westerfeld.
The Gossip Girl books; I haven't seen the TV series as of yet, but I'd like to read the books.

^ I got A Child Called It for Christmas, it's by Dave Peltzer. I can't wait to start reading it.

Same with Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger, I've wanted to read that for ages.
I also have The Tales of Beedle the Bard by JK Rowling on my bookshelf which is untouched as of yet. :tehe:
I've got to finish Checkmate first, though, the third installment of the Noughts and Crosses series by Malorie Blackman.

^ I didn't realise there was a fourth, and then I found it! It's called 'Doublecross' but it's still sitting on my shelf.

I've read A Child Called It. I read it when I was 11.
I need to read all of the books I got for Christmas, especially Nineteen Eighty Four.

    Didn't he do three books?
I know there's one called A Man Called Dave.

Oh! And I want to finish A Series of Unfortunate Events, and the books that come after Noughts and Crosses.

^The War of the End of the World is amazing.
    :cheese:

I want to find some time to read To The Lighthouse and Between Acts by Virginia Woolf, and I really want to re-read Lord of the Rings these days, and about half a dozen books I've bought but didn't have the time to read. And the complete works of Lucian Blaga.

    Tyler Durden.:
I need to read all of the books I got for Christmas, especially Nineteen Eighty Four.
1984 is a great book. I read it when I was twelve and really liked it. It can be a bit confusing at times, just because it's set in I guess what you could call an "alternate reality", since it's in the future, but it's pretty kick-ass.
    Tom Fletcher.:
Same with Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger, I've wanted to read that for ages.
Oooh, Catcher in the Rye has, hands down, been my favorite book since I was about eleven or twelve. I've read it like eight times. The style it's written in is great. It's the only J.D. Salinger book I really like, though.

To be on topic, I really want to read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson. He's an amazing writer but, of course, I haven't read his most popular book. My boyfriend is in love with it and has read it like, three times.

There's a bunch of stuff I need to read.

I need to finish Dead Souls by Nikolai Gogol. And I want to read Diary of a Madman.
I wanna read some more Nabokov. Despair, particularly.
And I want to read more Bukowski, too. 'Cause he's fun.
    And some more Dostoevsky.
    More of everything really.
    Ooooh, and more Scott Fitzgerald.
AND Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.
    Yeah.
    :)

To Kill A Mockingbird, we're going to read it in school and I saw some of the movie, it was interesting.
Fight Club, I watched the movie last night and I liked it so I want to see how the book is.

I actually don't exactly know what they're about, but I hear that they're classics.

    Interview with the Vampire books.
Animal Farm, I think it's called.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is, hands down, one of the most amazing books I've ever read in my life. It's beyond words.
See the movie after you read the book.

    Witch Child By: Celia Rees
I read this when I was about ten or eleven. It was unsettlingly great, mindboggling and realistic. I actually own it. It's a great one.

Let's see, what books do I want to read...
East of Eden by John Steinbeck (I have it out, just haven't started it yet...).
I might want to read Wicked, too.
    And Huckleberry Finn.

Run For Your Life by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge
I'm a sucker for almost anything James Patterson writes. He's an amazing author, one of my favourites. It's a new book that came out, and from the info I read on it, it sounds interesting. :]

grl2grl: short fictions by Julie Anne Peters
I love Julie Anne Peters, I really do. And I've read three of her novels, but never seen this one in any bookstore I've looked in. I'm really wanting to read it.

    Ellen Foster by Kaye Gibbons
"When I was little I would think of ways to kill my daddy..."
A story about a young 11 year old girl living with her abusive father and her unhappy mother. It was a choice to read it for 8th grade, but I didn't take it. People who did take it said it was an amazing book, and since then I haven't been able to properly pick it up and read it.

A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare
I'm lame and a nerd. That is all. XD
