I joined last Jan, when I first heard about it through Quizilla. Then I kind of abandoned that and went on Quizilla until QZ changed, made a new user and joined! And because all my friends on QZ moved here, so I was like, yay!

I was so confused when I went on Mibba. I was like, where the hell is everything??

I like Mibba a lot more than Quizilla, though. It's a lot more organised and uncluttered.

    I found it through INO.
I was reading Fuel This Flame, by Ripley, I think, when the stories were transferred.
And then when they changed the viewing restrictions, I had to join to read it.
I didn't post on the boards forever, which is why I'm a fairly early member with a low postcount.

    I joined in September '07.

A few days before Mibba, I joined INO and clicked on the stories link.
On the list of stories, there was one title that stood out somehow.
(I Never Told You What I Did For a Living by broken_city_sky)
So when I clicked it, I was taken here and it said I had to join in order
to read it. I was curious about the story, so I joined and finally read my first
fanfiction that turned out to be an amazing story, so I started getting more into it
    and now here I am.

    I'm never leaving. :arms:

Well, my friend had an account. She's SnowWhite on here. And she said that she had this really good story for me to read. It was a Frerard and she really thought I would like it.

She printed part of it out for me and when I read it, I just had to join. I can't remember the name of the story now though. But that story got me addicted to this site.

When i joined no one comment raped me, I had hardly any friends and I was such a noob. But I resurected myself haha.
I only joined in May last year but it seems like longer ago ....O_o
I think it was back when Quizilla was talking about change...I just decided to find somehwere else to post my stories before it changed too much.

I joined Mibba last January, just before I left to go on holiday. Literally, JUST before.

My friend loved a story I wrote and she kept pushing me to join Mibba, so I was like "fine..." and I joined :XD (Thanks, Leanne!)

Haha, after I joined, I had to leave :XD so... nothing really special. It didn't excite me at all at first.

I was on GSB and INO.
Mainly INO, really, and I was posting my poetry and stuff on the poetry section they had there, so when Mibba came, I joined pretty much as soon as I found out that it was up.
I came to write poetry, I decided to give the story thing a try and got more and more into the whole thing.
Then I started using the boards.

Well I'm still pretty new to Mibba. I discovered it when I was reading some stories on Quizilla and a few people had commented on the fact that Mibba is so much better. They said that the feedback here is better and more people comment (which is useful for improvements). So I just googled it and dicided to join after about a month. I'm writing a story at the moment, so if Quizilla has so many problems, I just figure that maybe I shall just publish it here when I have completed several chapters. I never really liked Quizilla after the change last year, so I felt I might as well just join here. Additionally, now that I've joined, I've discovered that Mibbians seem so much more friendly than those from Quizilla...

Well, one day I was on Quizilla and I was just trying to find new things to do. I had gotten very bored of that site and I had nothing to do on there anymore. It was weird because that day, I kept seeing the word "Mibba" everywhere. It seemed as if everyone was talking about it. I realized it was a site and so I decided to check it out. It was probably one of the very few things that I've done right. I read what it was and immediately signed up. That same day I deleted my Quizilla account and from then on, I was a Mibbian.

I was a GSBian that had to migrate here one of the first days the site opened to the public: Dec 21st 06
I still miss GSB, it was great having thousands of people that were into your fave band.
Now I get excited when I see a GD fan. *sighs*
Ah well, I've gotten over the move and I'm staying here. I'm addicted to the boards. XDD

I was an INOer and heard that the storyboard was eventually going to be deleted, so I came here to post my stories and read others. It took me a while to become active on the boards though. Glad I did.

I joined through a MCR myspace fansite and I got so into it because of the massive MCR stories I found... The stories and the site was so interesting. And the people here are super nice and I always feel so welcome here - I always smile when I'm on Mibba :3

Quizilla. I never even felt welcomed there. When I was checking the boards people were horrible to eachother... and I was addicted to Sims2WritersHangout for the simple reason that the people were nice and will give you help and feedback.

So I searched Google for hours but the sites seemed more for older people than me, I felt like I would be left out =[. Then I remembered hearing something about Mibba, and the word just kept popping up. Me being curious, checked it out, going straight to the forums and seeing some structure and rules to them and I was like, got to join.

So, reason I joined was to post stories and read them, and the forums - just the rules appealed to me. Although I lurk more than post.

I joined because Quizilla turned to thirteen year-old, attention-seeking shit. I like this site much better- there's more people my age and lots more to do. I never regretted leaving Quizilla for Mibba. It was one year on January 4th that I've been a member of this site.

    It was basically this:

Kerri: I want you to read one of my stories. Here it is. *sends me a link to it* Oh, and you have to join.

    Me: Okay.

    Kerri: Oh, and friend me.

    Me: Okay.

And thus an addiction was born. :XD Mine is so uninteresting compared to everyone else's. I came for my friend's story, stayed to write my own, and stayed to read the fantastic stories here. :cute:

    Why did you join Mibba?

What compelled you to click that register link and sign up?

Was it the stories? Was it because you had friends on here?

I know I joined for the stories, but I got lured into the whole site. I don't regret it at all though. :tehe:

How did those first few moments after joining feel?

I think I felt excited at the time. I'd never some across such a wonderful site, so I was pretty estatic at the time. Still am when someone mentions Mibba. :XD

    What about you?
I joined Mibba because one of my friends got an account here after Quizilla announced it was going to change.
The first few moments I felt pretty excited. I'm so glad that I joined. And the stories are pretty much amazing. Smiley

Kinda Random.. i used to hang out in the suckiest
MCR forum ever.. on a site named emocore.se
Everyone complained about how not serious everyone there was..
Everybody just wrote that they sucked. So when someone wrote in that
forum: Mibba's MCR forum is a lot better than this, then i joined :XD
