Butterfly is such a pretty name, I love it. :D

My nickname/preferred name is Sadie. My real name is Selah, and I despise it because everyone always mispronounces it. (It's pronounced with a long E, SEE-luh.) Almost everyone except for my parents, brother, and a handful of friends call me Sadie.

Try having a name spelt Myrsadez and your name being pronounced like the car Mercedes. Things don't get any better with my last name which is rhymes with Pringle and almost Kringle but not quite. That just leads to Extreme annoyance and my no -.- not even expression. To top off this bad name my initials spell the word MILK. I feel like I'm a name brand or something.

Devin is a great name and I feel like it really describes me and I just love it. But unfortunately it's not very common in my neighborhood, especially not for females. XD With the start of every school year, of my teachers and classmates are just super surprised to see, god forbid, a girl with the name Devin. I get so many of these: "Oh... that's an interesting name." or "Oh my. I've never heard that on a girl before." that it's ridiculous.

My name is Haruko, but I like being called Haru. People look at my skin color and my curls and they just exclaim, "OH YOU LOOK LIKE A HARU!"

What does a Haru supposed to look like? Grr

My name is Raven. I was named after the poem by Edgar Allan Poe.

You wouldn't believe the "caw caw" and "That's So Raven" jokes I get on a daily basis. Or someone shouting "NEVERMORE!" at me.

I suppose it's an okay name. It's definitely not common.

I've never heard the name Butterfly before, but it has such a magnificent connotation to it. It kind of reminds me of the realm of names with Bambi, Lily, etc. Very unique touch.

My name is Gabrielle, and my biggest problem is most people don't even know how to pronounce it.

My real first name is Brecca. It's my birth/legal name. It's pronounced Brek-kuh. No one knows how to spell it or say it properly. It usually comes out being spelled "Breka" or being pronounced as "Bresha." And at school, they usually thought "Brecca" was a typo for "Rebecca" or just plain ol' "Becca." I honestly with my name were just plain ol' Becca so I could go by Becky or something.

So instead, I go by Vandalia. Pronounced Van-doll-ya, it is also sometimes pronounced by people Van-dell-ya which I don't mind one bit. The nickname is Vannie, and even spelled Vanny (which I don't like as much as Vannie), at least people can pronounce it so I'm happier with it.

Everyone else has these awesome, unique names and I have something so common as "Megan".
Now don't get me wrong Megan is a beautiful name, but honestly I meet Megans pretty much every where I go....totally not okay by me!

I do have a lovely middle name, it's not really unique but when I tell people my middle name they have absolutely no clue how to spell it. It's Leighan and I hate it when people try to spell it and theyre like "oh its like Leann right?" And i'm just sittin there like " Um no betch, it is Leighan!"

My name is Ayesha which is a pretty common muslim name. The proper pronunciation is supposed to be "Aa-ee-sha" but most people that I talk to that might not be muslim always say "ay(as in hey)-sha" or "aa-yeh-sha" and I'm like... No :l

    Mine is Allyssa.

So many people spell it wrong.
And because of the extra L, they pronounce it wrong too.
I've been called Allison, Melissa, Alissa (With the I pronounced as an E).

My middle is May. No idea why but it is.

My name is Lamia. It's an Arabic name, but go search it on Wikepedia and be surprised that in Greek it means a human-snake vampire that eats children ._.
Some people mistaken my name for Llama which is pretty hilarious -_-
I think the name Butterfly is unique and beautiful. I really like it :)

Funny story, Aoife is my "alter ego's" name(The name and back story I use when communicating with people I don't want knowing about my personal life)
My name is KateLouise. I've never really felt that it fit me.

I have two names. My English name is Brandon Todd. My Cherokee name is Wohali Unega. "Butterfly" isn't so weird compared to mine. It's definitely unique though (in a cool way :])

My name is Deyla...not only can people not spell it, but they can't pronounce it either. Day-lah. I don't know how you get dell-ee-yah, or doll-ee-yah either. It means beautiful night in some language I can't remember...that's what mom says at least. I'm unsure of the origins of my name.

I'm called Kaitlyn. It's rather too feminine for me and I'd love people to call me James. James on a girl? Yes. James. Call me James, please, I despise my name.

On a different note, I feel bad that I might hurt my mum's feelings every time I say I dislike my name. OMG NO!
