    Quizilla transfer fo shizzle.

I was following a girl's writing, and she disappeared. Then I read her journal and it talked about Mibba, so...

I use to use Quizilla, I've still got my account on there so my stories could still be read but I'm going to go through them again because I written them about 5 years ago and my grammer was crap back then xD

But my account was called TashaPheonix.

The reason I moved was because I hated the fact it kept changing... and half my stories went missing which really annoyed me and the quizilla people couldn't get them back, so I moved here because its more mature and i prefer it because you can make banners for it now as you can't on quizilla. :-)

Yeah, I used to be on Quizilla. Then, some people there mention Mibba, so I tried it out. And, now, I guess I love Mibba more. :D

I came from Quizilla too, and I was there ever since I was 11 and transferred here when I was around fourteen. I know everyone thinks Quizilla is just this shit hole of stories, but I think because I was there so long that I just have this love for it, because I probably would have never written stories if it wasn't for that site.

I was ItsDebeatable, yes with the typo. I actually wrote a semi-popular story.

But as my wriing developed I made the move here because from a writing perspective, it's no contest.

I was from Quizilla, but I still log on, can't really help it, that site is, addicting, maybe? But I don't really make anything. I think that today was my last log in, for sure... Disgust
I was cyberbullied like crazy on that site, and the mods didn't do anything. I'm still complaining about it, but so far, no emails back.

It put me under the impression that they just didn't care (the moderators).

Whenever I would message people about their stories, for example, this happened just yesterday: I messaged this girl about some of the rants and journal entries (that said "MORE.FANMAIL or i'm not making anymore stories!!!one!!!) that she was making, because they were, well, offensive, to say the least. When I messaged her about it she basically sent a string of profanity in my direction.

The funny thing about it was, right after that after I responded to the offensive message, she said "please don't be mean, im just a tween".
I'm not taking a shot at everyone on that site that's below 13, but, I was under the impression that that was the minimum age requirement. She sent a friend over to "take care of me".

    The whole thing was ridiculous.
*Sigh*, and that's not the first time something like that has happened.
I'm also being harassed by some dude who made a troll account, but that's another story.

I'm not going to waste my time on a site that doesn't care (from what I've seen & personal experience. I've had to make another account because of the bullying) about the safety of its users. So, take that Quizilla, you just lost a user. Ha Ha

I hardly make anything on here, in fact, I think I only made 1 story, but I really don't think that any one on Mibba would do that- as in cuss you out if you don't care for their stories. This place has a more, er, professional- guess that's the right word- atmosphere.

Quizilla also gave my computer a pretty bad virus last summer.

^ I joined Quizilla when I was nine, because I was a rebel like that. Underage accounts on Mibba are usually deleted, but I mean, it's Quizilla we're talking about. Once upon a time, there were no rules about what you could or could not write, and rules were more guidelines anyhow.

I've never heard of underage accounts being deleted on Mibba - it's not mandatory to put your real age on the website either.

I came from Quizilla. I still post stuff there, have some stuff that isn't on here that is there (the username is Sarcastic4Life is you want to check it out) and I have a couple friends on there I talk with, and that's pretty much it. I came to Mibba because, like a lot of other people, I was following a story and the writer moved to Mibba. I absolutely love it, mostly because the stories aren't ads and spam here. Besides that, everyone is so nice here! Arms

I sort of came from Quizilla, I guess, but before like 90% of other people. I've been on Quizilla since I was about 11 or so, I think, and had a fair few accounts that I ended up deleting because I got sick of my user-name (-.-'), but I heard of Mibba when I was on I'm Not Okay way back in '07.
It's really only recently I stopped posting on Quizilla. Before whatever went on here went on there, and vice versa, but it's gotten so clogged with bad fan fiction and it's so difficult to navigate now that I just can't be bothered.
Besides, this site is more story and forum based than Quizilla, so it's easier to get feedback on what you do, meet new people and improve your writing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember a brief period when there was a crackdown on underage accounts, which I thought was why Isa changed her age from 12 to 13. I was under the impression underage accounts were being deleted.

^ I don't think so. There was a big crackdown on multiple accounts sometime earlier this year though...

^ Hm, well, guess I'm wrong. I remember there being some sort of age deal a couple of years ago, I swear, but I don't have a link to anything saying what it was. I do remember there being a few users who had their ages set to 12 (or a little younger) a while ago and I could have swore they were banned (which is probably the term I should have used instead of 'deleted') for it.

I just transferred today. I'm just sick and tired of my stuff being deleted, even though they were a bunch of reviews and self-help guides. I've known about Mibba for a long time, but today I just cracked. It looks nice :D I love the colours.

    I'M A TRANSFER! Crazy

I mean, not directly. I left Quizilla sort of a few years back, though technically I've been a member since 2004. It got really drama and ridiculous, and the final straw for me was to have ALL my work erased. Years of work gone within a week.

Luckily I had already moved the stuff I liked over to FF, and plan on moving it here just in case. Though, mibba seems kind of win.

Anywho. I used to write as kikASSbabe, and I agree with tons of other people from this thread. I miss the homepage layouts, the new one was RIDICULOUSLY slow, the story option constantly messed up on me... It wasn't worth it in the end anymore. Which was sad, because I think for a lot of us, that was out place to be for a good solid few years.

I guess I would say I'm a transfer too! I didn't come to mibba because I wanted to "leave" quizilla, I was just directed here while looking for Led Zeppelin fanfiction!
Oh and about the whole writing in 2nd person thing...
On quizilla, most of my stuff was "Who would you fall for" so it kinda had to be in 2nd person to work, y'know. From writing that kind of thing, I have become most comfortable writing my fics in 2nd person!
My quizilla account is MapleSerap, for anyone who's interested!

    I sort of am....

I mean, I had a Quizilla and then I left it because I thought it was dumb. Half a year later my English teacher told me about Mibba. Arms

I was a user on Quizilla for a while then most of the writers switched over to here, so I switched over. I like Mibba a lot more than Quizilla, especially after they "updated' it.

I was on Quizilla, and they deleted all but one chapter of my story, so in Google I typed in, 'Quizilla deleted my story', or something like that, and I found a page where it said Quizilla had deleted loads of people's stories, and everyone had moved to Mibba, so I made an account on Mibba too.
I'm so glad Quizilla deleted my stuff; if it hadn't I'd never have known what Mibba is.

I transferred from quizilla to here after they updated the site. One of my close quizilla friends told me she was moving to this site, so I did too. And I'm glad I left.

One week I logged onto QZ and everything had changed. Thus my hasty move to Mibba. Haven't even looked at Quizilla for a few years.
