Awesomest little cars ever, even though they're not the safest things in the world.
    I want one very badly.

What do you think of Smart Cars?

I fell in love with them in 2003 when I first saw them in Italy. I would love one. :cute:

The name is misleading, they look rather silly.
I think they're a rather impractical vehicle. How are you supposed to drive around with more than one person? It's a car that discourages carpooling, no matter how energy efficient.

    A hateful little car.

You'd be better off with the Toyota Dishwasher...I mean iQ.

It's about as energy efficent and it's a four seater for around the same price.

    Jeremy Clarkson is hilarious :lmfao

I like the idea of these cars. But I'm not personally a fan.
The fact that they're energy efficient is the only attractive point for me.
They look ridiculous, and as said above me, how are you supposed to drive around with more than one person in the car? It's not really a family car - or even if you lived alone, how would you expect to put your shopping in it? It just seems silly to me.

I think they look silly, but a kinda cute-silly.
I wouldn't get one myself, personally. My Mum wanted one a little while ago for her work - she used to do home visits, so it would be good to nip around in.

I'm afraid of smart cars. I mean, yay good for environment, but there's one that's like...supposed to help you parallel park! I mean, that would probably malfunction and get you a lawsuit of some sort. :cheese:

I don't think I would drive one.
It always reminds me of that South Park episode, the Smug one. :lmfao

They are sooo cute! But it looks like they could get blown over in high winds, they're just so tiny! Hahaa!

God, I hate these things! There's no possible way they're safe and they're way too small.

No horsepower and built like a tin can, I'd hate to wreck in that sucker :P
If you want to save gas that badly, bikes are nice.

I so agree with you. XD

I'm a sucker for really old, well built cars. I mean, I got to touch a 1955 Bel Air in person for the first time today (In Love) and it was built like a TANK. That's the kind of car I want to ride around in. XD

Smart Cars are cute, I guess, but they're just too poorly built for my tastes.

the problem with smart cars is that people buy them for the gas mileage and then use them incorrectly. If you accelerate quickly and drive at high speeds, they burn a lot of gas because they're so low on horsepower.

They are good for city driving, I guess, but I prefer something with some oomph.
