Kurt Cobain's ashes stolen!

British tabloid News of the World reported Cobain's widow Courtney Love was "suicidal" after finding the Nirvana's front man's remains missing from her Hollywood home.

Love kept the ashes in a pink teddy-bear-shaped bag along with a lock of his hair, News of the World reported. Thousands of dollars worth of clothes and jewelry were also taken in the burglary.

"They were all I had left of my husband," Love said. "I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me."

"I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me. I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal.

"If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do. Now it feels like I have lost him all over again."

Nirvana were one of the world's biggest bands in the 1990s and the leaders of the grunge movement until Cobain shot himself in April, 1994, while high on heroin.

Why is it that the News of the World have made it public? Wouldn't someone in her management team have talk to the press about it?

I was about to cry. How argh!. How could someone do that?. They are probaly going to sell them on Ebay. There is a chance that they didn't know it was his ashes and they thought it was an expensive teddy.

Kids spend hours everyday arguing about this, despite the fact that he died 14 years ago and sorry, there's nothing we can do about it.

However, in this case, I really think a little sympathy is needed. Michael Way had a good point. ^_^

Stealing anyone's ashes, not just Kurt Cobain's is dumb, sick, horrible and twisted thing to do. Nobody in their right mind would do such a thing.
