OTP = One True Pairing. It means the pairing you are the most passionate about reading or writing.

List your OTPs here and feel free to discuss why, etc.
    Mine are:

    Ryden.
    Druden.
    DruRyden.

Ryden is so canon it's laughable. I actually hated it at first because I went to SlashattheDisco to find a Spryan fic and all I could find was Ryden. Then I started watching more Panic videos and whatnot and fell in love.

Druden and DruRyden are rather obvious.

Lamy (Lacey Mosley and Amy Lee): The couple that will never be. Both are happily married, so the chances of them getting together are zip. Hell, that’s probably why I love writing it so much. That and those two are just so beautiful in their own right; the two of them together is just... Perfect. Lamy’s probably the only thing I’ve ever seriously written, but I’ve never gotten to read any. Makes me a little sad, since in my humble opinions, it’s one of those great romantic pairings, and I’d love to read someone else’s take on their relationship.

I pretty much am in love with Ryden, Rockett, and Freard. I don't even really know why, its just that the majority of the time they seem more realistic than alot of what i used to read.

Ianto Jones/Captain Jack Harkness. It's really canon. XD Plus I love reading post-Cyberwoman fics, the situation is definitely full of potential for kinkiness. And umm...emotional depth. :shifty

I think I might be the inventor of that term.

It's M. Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold and Davey Havok from AFI. Somehow they just work for me. I think the idea of the two of them is simply fucking adorable. Such opposites that they're perfect.

Also, there's a photo of them holding each other. So yeah. That helps.

Gerbert. I don't read it so much anymore, but yeah. I love the diversity one can work into a Gerbert, even though recently it has become a bit of a breeding ground for clichés.

And Vam. Vam is... yes. Again, I love the diversity you can work into it. There aren't a lot of typicals (except for the ones that are... multifandom?) in Vam, as it isn't a huge pairing. But, I stumbled across it on LJ and yeah. It's pretty much all I write now, which is kinda sad. :tehe:

Frerard and Frikey are definitely my weak spots.

IDK, Frerard is just so obvious it isn't even funny.
And there's just something beautiful about Frikey. In Love

Sonny Moore/Matt Good. They're two of my favorite people, and both my major idols.

I love the conspiracy behind the pairing, and the fact that most people fail to realize that it even exists.

They're just my favorite pairing. :shifty

The relationship they had when Sonny was in FFTL was really just beautiful. It's inspiring.

Both Matt and Sonny are really cool and random, and have lots of inside jokes, so that really makes me feel connected, and the easiest way for me to write is to feel connected to what I'm writing.

    They're just so... gah.
It's hard for me to write about any other pairings, but when it's Alom... it just comes out naturally.

    Ryden & Zerardy.

I don't exactly know why Ryden. It's my current fandom, I guess.
Zerardy. -dry laugh- SI, Rardy and I. I've only ever posted one, the rest will probably never make it onto here.

    I’d have to say
    Shawn Harris/Jon Devoto
    Waycest
    Ryden

I’d never in my life write Ryden just like I’d never write a Frerard.
But I really like reading both; just I’ve read more Ryden of lately.
The reason why I won’t write it is because I have no interest in
doing so as there is no story I could tell that the Ryden and
Frerard writers haven’t already told or wouldn’t tell so much better.
And also, my interest in PATD is absolute zero, which means I’d
not be able to portray the characters. I just like reading it because
its cannon, they can be made into very appealing characters
and the plots created for/around them tend to be real good.

Waycest I like to read but only in the beginning did I read anything
and everything whereas I now only read the, in my opinion, brilliant
ones and can’t be bothered with anything short of that. The reason
for that is that I don’t read Waycest because it’s “hot” but for the
complexity of the relationship. Which is why there simply
is no point in reading anything not executed well.
I write Waycest because incest is very difficult to approach
in a story. It’s one of the grey areas of love and attraction
and I’m much more interested in portraying that than all
the aspects that are less complex and more black or white.

And as for Shawn and Jon I’m just utterly in love with their
personalities and the way they interact. Like, ridiculously so. x]
And as they’re not a very cannon pairing the nature of their
relationship can be made very, very complex. Because, unlike
when you have real life acts to draw from, you have to look for
subtleties that can be interrogated as possible hints of a liquid
relationship not limited to that of band mates and friends.
Then you incorporate that into the story for the paring to even
work in the minds of the readers - you can’t see it in real
life, at least not clearly, until the writer brings up and points
out tiny details that are crucial for making the paring.
A Shawn/Jon paring can fall flat rather easily simply
because of those reasons. But if the writer can convince
the reader of the paring then generally it will be a great
story simply because it is so difficult to work with
the pairing and that means that if it works you haven’t
fallen into any clichés as clichés are a doomed failure
    for such a non-canon pairing.
And yeah, I mean, with Jon and Shawn, it's hovering
close to cannon and you just want to reach out and
just tip the scale over because it’s almost there
    but just not quite. x]
And that's just teasing, that's what it is. Not nice. :file:

    Wow. Long post.
    I talk too much. :tehe:

Quert i my favourite, Frerard/Ferard my second. I only read one Quert though, there's not enough written D:. I'll be writing one when I finish my frerad but God knows when that will be. Sometime next year, I'd imagine. Hopefully before like, May.

The funny thing is that I don't even like MCR that much at all anymore. I just read and write about Frank and Gerard a lot.

However, I really love orig slash. But that doesn't count on here :tehe:

    Frerard.
It was the first pairing I recall reading over on INO and it got me into slash. Besides, their stage antics make it sort of canon. I write mostly Frerard, I read mostly Frerard. -shrug- There's just something about it that I like.

And in shows, books, animes, etc. I usually go for the forbidden love kinda thing. Though sometimes the canon is just too sweet to ignore.

I wouldn't list them; there'd be too many :XD
