Staff Update: A Glitch With Receiving Email Subscriptions

For the past month, users with a Hotmail email have had issues with receiving their email subscriptions. This was due to the Hotmail/Live/Microsoft server unexpectedly blocking all emails from Mibba. Dujo was onto the problem straightaway, but it has taken up until now for it to be completely resolved.

During this time, emails were received by Hotmail users periodically and sometimes in excessive numbers. They were always delayed by a few days at the least and this caused a bit of confusion amongst users.

This should no longer be occurring. Users should now be receiving any email subscriptions that they have on time and in the right numbers. If not, don’t hesitate to post in the Help forum and the staff will do their best to find out what’s wrong and fix it. All emails sent by Mibba during this time should have reached you by now, but we do recommend that you check up on any important stories or threads that you are subscribed to, just in case.
