keep in mind that there are things such as 'triggers'- saying something about someone else, whether celebrity, non-mibbian, or heck, even fictional, can upset others. when posting online for everyone to see, just try to be respectful. as well, remember that even non-mibbians have the ability to read what you post. i have several non-mibbian friends that have told me they found me on here. i had no idea they knew i was on here, but they found me nonetheless. just remember this is meant to be an open and friendly environment, and even bashing people not on here can be offensive to any reader.

Well, everyone isn't like you, I'm afraid. A lot of people are easily affected by people's words on the internet. Which is why suicides from cyber bullying is becoming more frequent. Just because one person can deal with it, doesn't mean everyone else can and should.

Hmm, I personally don't see what's so 'skewed' about the definition. To me, if it's insulting then it's bashing. I'll try to go more in detail of what constitutes as bashing in the December column. Well, that may just be you and a select few. To some, like me, Mibba is all we have. I mean, we all have opinions on the sites we do/don't feel comfortable with, for example I don't go to tumblr because it's alright on there for anonymous people to send you hateful things, while on here I know that if someone were to tell me how stupid I may be that the situation would get handled.

The definition of "bashing" is very skewed depending on which moderator or administrator you have the pleasure of dealing with. I don't see it as a place to let out my personal frustrations.

Don't see how it can be incorrect since the blogs is one of the few places that you can ramble about personal things on Mibba.

So, something like "You can blog about pretty much anything within the guidelines."? Bashing is against the rules on every portion of the site. Can't bash/insult people in comments anywhere at all, can't do it in author's notes, can't do it in the forums, or on personal profiles on Mibba.

I find this to be highly incorrect, as you can be banned for "bashing" people in your personal life who are not on Mibba. I suggest adding that to this rule list, because I have been banned for that and spoken to several others for the same, ah, "offense."
