Mibbian of the Week: W!ldfire

W!ldfire is a bubbly people-person who joined Mibba in August of 2011. Also known as Sarah-Elizabeth, she is almost seventeen years old, and she lives in “the great land down under, Australia.” Sarah-Elizabeth enjoys talking to other people and hopes to be a journalist one day. On her profile, she states that people call her “weird” but she feels that “being weird is better than being normal.” A huge music and writing fan, Sarah-Elizabeth can often be found writing, reading or listening to music. Let’s see what W!ldfire had to say:

How did you come up with your Mibba username? What were your inspirations for it?

Well I had gone through a few names, one of them being my name, but I wasn't satisfied, so I began thinking of things that describe who I am as a person I believe and also have been told I have a fiery personality and I'm wild and free, I was going to go with Young, Wild and Free but it seemed to cliché and then my older sister who is my inspiration had done a tattoo on someone once and it said Untamed W!ldFire, I thought the wildfire part looked awesome so that is how I found my name.

What types of stories/poems do you write on Mibba?

I write both fan-fictions and original fictions; I have only written one true story though.

What types of stories/poems do you read on Mibba?

I read fan-fictions and original fictions; I'm going to start reading true stories soon.

If you had to name your favorite story/poem on Mibba, what would it be?

Well, there is Crash Into Me written by Haylie Jaed, although it is still being written. I think it is by far my favorite. And Forbidden written by Frankie Iero.!

What draws you to the above named story/poem? Why is it your favorite?

I'm not really sure, I guess that they are both written about my favorite band, or it could be how the story was written, maybe even the characters but they are both amazing stories!

What is your all-time favorite story/piece of literature?

Fearless written by Francine Pascal; she is what got me into reading!

Do you have a favorite obsession? If so, what is it?

Writing stories, poems, songs and letters… there is not a time where I am not writing something!

If you could meet any one person (or any small group of people), who would it be and why?

Probably My Chemical Romance. They are inspiring people, who show you is okay to be weird and not okay; they get back up and try again, and I'm sure they have inspired a lot of young people.

What are your favorite things to do when you’re not on Mibba?

When I'm not on Mibba I'm either writing stories, poems or songs or reading the many books I have at home.

What are some of your favorite musicians/bands?

My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, Anugs and Julia Stone, The Getaway Plan, my new favorite The Maine, Boy and Bear, Coldplay, Creed, Paramore, Foster the People, Pinkly Smooth, there is just too many!

What is your favorite literary genre?

Drama, Action, [and] Thriller [are] my favorites.

If money and skill were no objects, what would you like to do with your life?

I'd be taking care of the ones I love, helping them out in any way I can, making people smile, doing something for the community and those around me so that everyone benefits.

What else should the world of Mibba know about you?

That if anyone wants me to read something, I will read it; if someone wants me to write something for them or need help with writing I will help, anything to do with writing…. I'm not wanting to be famous and publish books so that they can become movies and famous to the world, I just want to write and [for] people [to] read; if they like my stories and poems is totally up to them!
