Mibbian of the Week: Brand_New_Eyes

Eighteen-year-old Brand_New_Eyes joined Mibba in January of 2010. Also known as Amy, she lives in Michigan in the United States. Artistically inclined, Amy enjoys reading, music, singing, and being in her school’s drama program. She states on her profile page that she has too many favorite bands to narrow it down. How did you come up with your Mibba username? What were your inspirations for it?
I got the name from the Paramore album. I was listening to it nonstop and thought it'd make a good name.

What types of stories/poems do you write on Mibba?
I'm a fanfic writer.

What types of stories/poems do you read on Mibba?
Fanfics with the occasional fantasy

If you had to name your favorite story/poem on Mibba, what would it be?
We Can't Forget Last Summer by SixFeetUnder11. For sure :)

What draws you to the above named story/poem? Why is it your favorite?
The plot is so interesting; it [leaves] me wanting more every time a chapter ends. I just can't get enough!

What is your all-time favorite story/piece of literature?
It's a tough choice between Wuthering Heights and The Catcher in the Rye.

Do you have a favorite obsession? If so, what is it?
Coffee, I'd go crazy without it!

If you could meet any one person (or any small group of people), who would it be and why?
Avenged Sevenfold, they seem like such interesting and cool guys. I think they'd be a lot of fun.

What are your favorite things to do when you're not on Mibba?
I love spending time with my friends, taking pictures, and listening to music

What are some of your favorite musicians/bands?
Forever the Sickest Kids, Mayday Parade, The Maine, Eric Church, Ellie Goulding, and the list goes on haha

What is your favorite literary genre?
I'm sappy, so I love the YA romances.

If money and skill were no objects, what would you like to do with your life?
I'd love to travel, everywhere. Just roaming the world with my camera, living out of a suitcase.
