Mibbian of the Week: Daydreamer09

Daydreamer09 has been a member of Mibba for approximately a year. She prefers to be called Hannah and the sixteen year old calls England home. Being the huge Harry Potter fan she is, she mainly writes and posts Harry Potter fan fictions. However, Hannah hopes to flex her creative skills by writing more original fictions. After getting to know Hannah a little better through her answers, why not go check out some of her stories?

How did you come up with your Mibba username? What were your inspirations for it?

Umm... I panicked, because I'm so bad at making good usernames, so I picked the first word I could think of and pushed a number onto the end. I suppose the daydreamer part is quite appropriate, as I spend a fair amount of time daydreaming. No idea where the 09 came from.

What types of stories/poems do you write on Mibba?

Haven't posted anything on here for ages, but fanfiction. Harry potter fanfiction. I'm working on another one that I want to post soon. But I want to write more everyday type original stories, to focus on making my own characters up.

What types of stories/poems do you read on Mibba?

Anything that looks good! I like stories that are a bit different, like some interesting fantasy or friendship stories, which is a bad example but...anyway...

What is your all-time favorite story/piece of literature?

Harry Potter. I am such a huge Harry Potter fan. but I also love Michelle Magorian's books, and also I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith

If you could meet any one person (or any small group of people), who would it be and why?

J K Rowling, so she could tell me everything about the Harry Potter world!

What are your favorite things to do when you’re not on Mibba?

At the moment, I am in the middle of lots of exams, so my life consists of revising revising revising! But I read a lot and I write generally.

What are some of your favorite musicians/bands?

I love all sorts of music. At the moment, I mostly listen to Elbow, Coldplay, Florence and the Machine and musicals. I know practically all the words to Les Miserables.

What is your favorite literary genre?

I like fantasy, but I also like stories about ordinary people and their lives, whether it's set in present day or in the past.

If money and skill were no objects, what would you like to do with your life?

I would publish loads of books, write film scripts and direct the films, and suddenly be able to sing and compose musicals.

What else should the world of Mibba know about you?

This is hard! I suppose that I'm never totally happy with what I write ( I look back on what I've written here and cringe) so I like constructive criticism, as it helps your writing become better, which is what I'm on Mibba for.
