Mibbian of the Week: Waves Wash

Waves Wash joined Mibba in August of 2010. She is sixteen years old and lives in the United States. While Waves Wash has several stories posted on Mibba, she is most active in the poetry area and frequently posts blog entries on a variety of personal topics. When I originally sent her the Q&A, she really didn’t have a lot to say. I decided to ask her in a more general way about herself; that is where she opened up to me. I have included her answer to that at the end. Please take some time to get to know Waves Wash this week.

How did you come up with your Mibba username? What were your inspirations for it?

It reminded me of a poem.

What types of stories/poems do you write on Mibba?
I post stories that are fiction on [Mibba.]

What types of stories/poems do you read on Mibba?
I read [different] stories on [M]ibba. I am open to any poetry,

If you had to name your favorite story/poem on Mibba, what would it be?
I don't have a favorite story on [M]ibba.

What draws you to the above named story/poem? Why is it your favorite?

What draws me to a story is that it’s well written and is creative.

What is your all-time favorite story/piece of literature?
My favorite story is Peter Pan.

If you could meet any one person (or any small group of people), who would it be and why?
If I could meet anyone it would be One Direction.

What are your favorite things to do when you’re not on Mibba?
My favorite thing to do outside of [M]ibba is ice skating and playing the violin.'

What else should the world of Mibba know about you?

The world of [M]ibba should know that I am one of a kind.

Is there any way you could tell me a few things about yourself?

I volunteer at my church and I love the water. I love watching surfers and I love collecting shells on the beach. I am famous for my [strawberry smoothies] around my group of friends and I love the warm [weather]. What I look for in a person is compassion and understanding and they are logical people. My favorite stores are Pac Sun and Tilly's. My favorite way to keep cool in the warm [weather] is drinking water and when I am bored I like reading a good classic until I fall asleep. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I am a big Disney fan. My favorite brand name shoes are Vans.
