My apologies, I became confused with other points on the article. What I meant to refer to was the 'special status' and extra story advertisement.

You can't buy points with money. That was never discussed in the article.

I don't like the idea of 'buying' points etc. as this may create a divide between richer and poorer mibbians, and I don't like the potential, possibly unmentioned, discrimination that could come along with it. I've experienced it on other sites before and I've always ended up leaving because I'm a 'lower' class for not buying points/animations and have felt extremely 'little'.

I also feel buying points may give users a 'false' reputation not properly earned by their writing and contribution to the site.

Ever since I've been going around Mibba, I've always asked myself this question: "What are the points for?" and "How do we get points?". It's been really a relief for me to have known the answer by now. I think you should go for it, and it would be good to also know that we can even exchange points!

I think that at least 50 points should be given to authors who write a story more than ten chapters long and 100 points to authors who write a story more than twenty chapters long. Just a suggestion, though. -A
