Things I've Learned from Mibba: Mibbians are Awesome

Of all the sites you are able to visit here on the World Wide Web, you stumbled upon Mibba. Whether you were recommended here by a friend (like I was), or you were just bored out of your mind looking for something interesting, Mibba was the site that caught your attention. No matter how hard you try to resist it, you can never stop looking through different stories or poems that fit your ideals. Sooner or later you drag your mouse cursor over to the top right corner of the webpage and click “Create An Account” –because, yes, you are that curious to see how good this creative writing site really is.

If you think that it is difficult for a site to capture the interest of a wide range of people, you’re right – but drawing a person to a site like Mibba is only half the race. To be honest, catching the interest of the user is much easier than holding and keeping it. Who would think that you would get interested and stay interested when there are plenty of other writing sites that you can go to and are within your grasp in seconds!

The credit definitely goes to all Mibbians –the members who are witty, fresh and all-around good people, most from different backgrounds, a few having gone through things that most people can only imagine. How, you ask, could I possibly say something so bold despite myself having no proof of what they’ve been through? It’s true that I am merely just a virtual friend on the internet, but I read what they write and what they are willing to share, and oftentimes their postings say a lot more about their lives than any revealing PM.

From all walks of life, we have something in common – the ability to share our own selves through writing and language. No matter what area we are active in here on Mibba; the blogs which are our own “personal” diaries, the forums where we share our opinions, the written stories that contain our ideas and fantasies –they all bring us closer to one another.

Whoever you are, no matter what happens in your life, there is always someone here who is truly awesome enough to be your friend.
