Mibbian of the Week: viralstorm

Viralstorm is one of Mibba's many friendly faces. She is an incredibly sweet girl and a very talented writer. With her frequent reading, excellent stories and amazing attitude, she is a great member of the Mibba family! In this week's Mibbian of the Week, we get to learn what makes Viralstorm tick!



When did you join Mibba and how did you find the site?



I first joined Mibba in 2008 under the pen name crayolaurworld. I was a big fan of Quizilla and a lot of authors on that site made the switch over to Mibba, so my curiosity got the best of me and here I am.



What is your favorite thing about Mibba?



My favorite thing about Mibba is the diversity. There are so many different types of writers, so many different works to read. I never get bored and I am always shocked by just how creative people can be.



What is your least favorite thing about Mibba?



My least favorite thing? Hmmm... that's difficult. I guess it would have to do with the lack of enthusiasm for original fiction. I've tried to write original stories on here many a times and never seem to get any sort of response. I love writing fan fiction, but I wish original fiction got a little more credit.



On Mibba, are you more of a reader or a writer?



I'm a bit of both. I am a huge bookworm. I'm a fast reader, so I always burn through novels quickly. I am always looking for something new and exciting to read. I swear I have five pages full of active subscriptions. I write a lot too, though. My mind is always buzzing with new story plots and new characters. There is nothing more exciting to me than breathing life into new fictional beings. I love watching my own ideas unfold. I challenge myself to really surprise myself. I strive to look back at what I write and think "wow, I wrote that!"



Who are your favorite authors on Mibba?

Katie Mosing, Jeremy Renner., Bustanut, Charmedluna, and Cliche-Trite.



What are some of your favorite pieces you've read?



My all time favorite right now is She's My Daisy in The Dust by Cliche-Trite. Her updates to that series always trump everything else. Another story I am really into is a group-write titled Sunshine. It's genius.



What is your favorite piece you have written?



My favorite piece that I have written is Cloudy. It is fairly new and still in progress, but it is definitely my baby.



What is your favorite thing about writing?



My favorite thing about writing is the adventure. When I write about a character I become that character. As weird as it sounds, I like the thrill of letting out my inner multiple personality syndrome.



What is your least favorite thing about writing?



Writer's block. I loathe writer's block. I hate when I come up with a really great idea and I get so far, only to just get stuck in the mud.



Is there anything you would like to say to all the Mibbians out there?



I wouldn't know what to say, to be honest, except maybe to talk to me! Ha! I don't talk to a whole lot of people on here, but I would like to. I don't bite, I promise!
