Mibbian of the Week: rising sun

If I had to describe rising sun in three words, I would choose kind, caring, and funny, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Mibbian Clark kent recently described her as "literally the sweetest girl I've ever met in my life" and anyone who talks to her would probably agree. In this week's Mibbian of the Week, we find that there is more to Rayne than just a sweet personality.

When did you join Mibba and how did you find the site?

I joined in eighth grade, so that would be four years ago. A friend of mine was a member, and she kept pestering me until I made my own account. I'm glad she did, though!

What is your favorite thing about Mibba?

My favorite thing about Mibba is how supportive and open everyone is. It's not weird to just drop in on someone's profile and say hi, and when you mention that you're going through a rough patch a mob of people are instantly there to help you out.

What is your least favorite thing about Mibba?

This is an extremely hard question! I think my least favorite thing about Mibba is the number of stories that go unnoticed. There's always those big-name celebrity stories and whatnot that get massive amounts of feedback and subscribers, but there's still so many stories that don't feel the love.

What do you think Mibbians can do to get their unloved stories noticed?

I've found that doing promotion blogs for your stories, or offering to do comment swaps (with or without the feature itself) gets good feedback and recommendations, which points your story out more than just keeping it in the list. It's a little more work, but it gets your story a little more popular.

What are some of your favorite stories you've found on Mibba?

A lot of stories I followed closely were unfortunately recently deleted, but two that I've been following are Shades of Hazel and The Mommy Diaries.

What is your favorite piece you have written?

Right now, my favorite piece I'm writing is The Morning After. It's one of those stories that doesn't get much attention, but I have fun writing it anyway!

What is your favorite thing about writing on Mibba?

My favorite thing about writing on Mibba is the fact that you always know that someone out there likes your story. Every time I get a subscriber, rec, or comment I get this fuzzy feeling of accomplishment.

Is there anything you would like to say to all the Mibbians out there?

To all the Mibbians out there, I'd like to say stop taking yourself so seriously, Hakuna Matata. I love every single one of you!

Special thanks to tabula rasa. and Fandango for editing!
