Mibbian of the Week: enemies.

Enemies. is one of Mibba's many comic users, who is both smart and extremely witty. In this week's Mibbian of the Week, we take a closer look at this wonderful user!

When did you join Mibba and how did you find the site?

It was roughly 11 months ago, way back in January, so I still consider myself pretty new to this site. I remember finding some stories I wanted to read online, but being unable to because you have to a member. I really only joined the site to appreciate other people's work but I ended up starting my own stories and doing more for the community.

What area of Mibba are you most active?

Probably stories, I enjoy writing. I do a lot of blogging here too, but that's basically just me whining about everything!

What's your favourite thing about writing?

I love being able to get all the ideas out of my head. I get inspiration from crazy places, like my French lessons or little moments with my best friends. I find writing is the easiest and the best way to keep those little tiny moments alive. Being able to keep the things that make my day so much better makes writing worthwhile.

What's your least favourite?

I'm sure I'm not alone with this, but I absolutely hate it when my mind is just exploding with ideas and I already have 2-3 stories going! I have become better at updating stories over the years I've been writing but it's still not perfect!

What's your favourite story you've written and why?

I'm immensely proud of A Fading Memory. I really put a lot of effort into it, and it wasn't perfect talking about mistakes and all, it's evidence that I have improved. It was something that was constantly on my mind and I was so proud of myself for finishing it. I also have a feeling that a story I'm writing now, Pas Mal, will be great for me. Once again it's a thing that's on my mind constantly and I really hope people enjoy it!

What's your favourite thing about Mibba?

I love the community spirit and the fact that people will take you seriously here. I've used other sites before and it was all just full of immature 12-year-olds who believe anyone who has a slightly different opinion is wrong and should therefore be burned at the stake.

What's your least favourite thing?

The attitude of some user here. Content is not something that can be criticised, because it probably relates to the author's own likes and dislikes. It's not right to say that someone's work is bad because their main character is an emo teenager. Work should be judged for the quality, not the content. If someone tells you that your writing is bad because it's a fan fiction about gay men, then you should just ignore them because your writing should come from your own heart and not the minds of others.

How would you describe Mibba to someone who doesn't know what it is?

Mibba is a creative writing site that allows its users to share stories and poems. It's got a great community spirit, which makes it easy to make friends and have a good time!

Is there anything you'd like to say to all the Mibbians?

Just remember that everyone on Mibba is different. If you don't like what other's write, don't read it. Fan fiction is the life blood of Mibba, getting rid of it will kill this site. It's pointless to criticise other's work because you don't like the content, it's the quality that counts.

I also want to say thank you, for all the support I have received. I feel very welcome here, and I've made some great friends! I feel that on Mibba, I can be taken seriously as a writer and I can develop my skills. My writing has improved dramatically since I joined, and it's all thanks to the Mibbians who have taught me some vital things.

Special thanks to Fandango and psychotic secrets. for editing!
