Mibbian of the Week: Don'tFearTheReaper

Don'tFearTheReaper is an awesome Mibbian who is an avid reader on the site. In this week's Mibbian of the Week, we take a closer look at one of Mibba's male members!

When did you join Mibba and how did you find the site?

I had actually heard of this community about a year before I joined. My best friend was trying to get me to write and share more of my writing. She pointed me here. I ended up joining Mibba some time in the summer of 2011.

What area of Mibba are you most active on?

I'm definitely more of a reader. There are so many great writers here and I love seeing what their imaginations can do. My desire on this site, however, is to expand more into writing because that's where my real passion lies.

What do you look for in a story?

I love stories that have characters who are like people I know; those who have flaws. I adore a great plot, fixed around someone who has no idea about life and is just trying to get through each day. I also love a sadder plot with some monolithic moral behind it.

What is your biggest story pet peeve?

I realize that some high schools have the popular group, and then the people who lust after and want to be them. But I find this rather annoying in stories. It may be more appropriate in other places; but geographically speaking, it does nothing for me. I suppose I don't see it as often as it's portrayed.

What's your favorite thing about Mibba?

My favorite thing about this site is the family that I've made. It may not seem like it, but the friends that I've made here are some of the best. Ever. They are so amazing in their own way. And I love them all.

What's your least favorite?

I don't think there is anything.

If you had to describe Mibba to someone who had never been on the site, what would you say?

To me, it's kind of like a home away from home. A place to escape everything.

Is there anything you'd like to say to all the Mibbians out there?

To all of those friends I've made here, I love you guys. You guys are really quite amazing. To those that I don't know, I would love to meet you and get to know you.

Special thanks to Fandango and Katie Mosing for editing!
