Mibba's Thoughts: Apologies

As writers, many Mibbians have put their characters through trials and tribulations that they can't imagine going through themselves, but it's all for the greater good of writing, right?

In this week's edition of Mibba's Thoughts, Mibbians apologize to their characters.

Stace, I'm sorry that I start your story and never finish it. I keep meaning to write more, but I always end up taking it down and re-writing it. I guess it's a good thing for you, though, because then no one knows just how bad of a mother you will be. It's sort of your fault for putting a guy who isn't the father on the birth certificate, though. That was just low.

I know I haven't used you yet, but you've always been in the back of my mind. Every time I made a new character, I always compared them to you. I'm sorry that I put you through so much abuse, and I'm sorry that it's going to take him a while to see how much he loves you. I'm sorry that you got raped. I'm sorry that I've held onto you since 2008 and have been too scared to let your story be told. I swear, I'm not going to keep the silence.

Also, Queen Eva, I basically ruined your whole life. I killed off your true love and married you off to some vile thing. You were one of my all-time favourite characters too. Sorry, sorry, sorry.

Dear every kid on Mr. Doug's bus:

There is so much more to each of you than meets the eye. I wish I got to write about all of you individually. Also, I think there's a part of Doug that actually cares about you guys.
