Introducing Mibba Staff: The Red Tazelwurm

The Beta Reader feature of Mibba is one that Mibbians use frequently to improve their spelling and grammar, but what do you really know about the hard-working ladies that scour your work for errors? One of those girls is The Red Tazelwurm and she does a fabulous job! I had the privilege of asking Momo a few questions to find out everything from her thoughts on the site to her favourite novel!

1. When did you join Mibba and why?

Let's see...I believe I joined Mibba sometime in 2011-2010. I don't quite remember, I'm just going by when I posted my first story!

2. When did you become a member of Mibba's staff/magazine?

I became a beta reader 9 months ago.

3. What made you apply for the position you have?

Well I love correcting errors. It sounds kind of weird, but I like being able to help people out when they need grammatical or spelling assistance.

4. If you could have any other position of staff, what would it be and why?

Ooh! Well being a blog moderator sounds pretty fun.

5. What is your favourite part about Mibba?

I like how the staff are friendly and approachable. To me it's very rare for staff to be so nice and open on sites like these. From my experience on other sites, the moderators and admins have always been rude and a tad hostile. But here everyone's so nice and fluffy. :)

6. What is your least favourite part about Mibba?

I would have to say the Role play section of Mibba. I used to like it when their were so many open group rps but now there are just closed or private rps, no matter how far I go back in the pages.

7. What section of the site are you most active in?

I would say the story part of the site, because I'm always updating various stories or coming up with one shots. And of course, I'm pretty active in the beta centered threads.

8. Favourite novel?

Oh man...It has to be Hero by Perry Moore. That book was the best in my opinion.

9. If you could choose any piece of writing of yours - be it onsite or not - which are you most proud of?

I would have to say my superhero story, H20. It's my first on going superhero story and I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out.

10. Biggest inspiration?

Music is my biggest inspiration. It doesn't really matter what kind of music, sometimes I just here a tune and the ideas start coming to me rapid fire.

11. If you had an endless amount of money, where would you love to travel to?

Canada. I know it's literally right up north, but right now Canada sounds like the best place to be. And I would use that money to stay there forever.

12. And finally, if a site-wide reality television show were to air, who would be on it and who would win. Why?

Me! Just kidding, I would snap under the pressure.

I think that if there was a site wide reality show, then there would be teams, like: The General peeps, the Roleplayers, The Story Writers, The Poets, The Staff and The Bloggers. And I'm pretty sure it would be a tie between the Story Writers and the Bloggers, because the Writers, yeah they're creative and their imagination know no bounds, but some of the Bloggers on this site are hardcore, they go through some tough stuff and still come up swinging.
