Mibbian of the Week: block b

block b is a Mibbian who is known for being a huge part of the K-Pop fandom on Mibba. In this edition of Mibbian of the Week, we take a closer look at this awesome member.

When did you join Mibba and how did you find the site?

I joined in March of 2008. I used to read things on Quizilla, but my favorite author was moving over to Mibba, so I decided to follow her. She wasn't very active though, so after a while I tried posting my own writing and I've been here ever since.

What is your favorite thing about Mibba?

The Mibbians. Everyone is really great around here and they have such creative ideas for stories.

What does being a Mibbian mean to you?

Being a Mibbian is about expressing yourself, whether you choose to do that by writing original fiction, fanfiction, poetry, blogs or even just posting in the forums. You can do as much or as little of those as you want to and still be a Mibbian, which is great.

If you could change one thing about Mibba, what would it be and why?

It's not that crucial or anything, but if the occasional loading problems that happen every now and then were fixed, that would be nice.

What hobbies do you have outside of Mibba and writing?

I like to do film photography. I don't have a film camera that I enjoy using at the moment though, so I just tend to use the camera on my phone. It gets the job done pretty well and it's easy to clean up in editing software, so it works well enough for the time being. I'm hoping to get a proper film camera this summer. Aside from that, I like listening to music. Mostly I listen to k-pop right now, but there are a few alternative bands I still listen to from time to time.

What are your plans for the future?

I want to finish a long story one day. I always get stuck about halfway through and end up scrapping everything. I'm better at drabbles, oneshots and short stories, so I'd like to change that eventually.

Is there anything you'd like to say to all the Mibbians out there?

Hm...I think I'd say to write for yourself? Sure, getting feedback and constructive criticism is nice, but the most important thing at the end of the day is to just write for yourself. Write because you enjoy it or because you have to let something out of your head. In my opinion, what other people think about it is really not the most important thing. Just enjoy yourself.

Special thanks to silent hearts. and house of cards. for editing!
