Fandom Spotlight: Game of Thrones

Like a few fandoms, fans can get their heads around the Game of Thrones franchise in two ways – there’s the original book series by George R.R Martin, or you can choose to watch the highly popular television series that has taken the globe by storm! Whatever way you choose to get into the fandom, you’re bound to be enthralled by this fantasy novel that follows the lives of the Noble Houses fighting for the coveted Iron Throne, a seat that would guarantee the house full control over the Seven Kingdoms. With the speed that the television show has gripped the planet at, it’s no surprise that Martin’s fantasy series has found itself a firm place here on Mibba!

Mine Is the Fury by evie may. is a Game of Thrones fanfiction that follows the books more than the television series and features Sandor Clegane, a member of House Clegane. Cassana Baratheon is the sister of the infamous Joffrey and the only member of the family to treat Sandor as more than just a bodyguard. Although it seems wrong to him, Sandor finds himself admiring the pretty young woman more and more each and every day.

Cinders by robb.angel is a quick drabble about Daenerys Targaryen. Although very short, this drabble shows the aftermath of Daenerys walking through the flames in wonderfully descriptive language.

Regardless of whether you class Winterfell as your home or you have only just discovered the series, you’re bound to find something here on Mibba to enjoy!
