Mibbian of the Week: gilderoy-lockhart

gilderoy-lockhart is an awesome Mibbian who is very active in the forums, particularly the role-play section. In this edition of Mibbian of the Week, we take a closer look at Kim.

When did you join Mibba and how did you find the site?

A long time ago that is for sure. Think it was roughly three years ago 2011, maybe 2010. I was on Quizilla back in the day finding stories to read and all the authors said they were moving to Mibba. Eventually I bit the bullet made an account.

What is your favorite thing about Mibba?

There is always something to do. Be it read or update a story, start a roleplay or starting a discussion on the forums.

What does being a Mibbian mean to you?

When you are a Mibbian you are part of community. For the first few years I was a silent member and only really this year I started going back on the forums, reading stories again and doing the odd blog post when I could. Being a Mibbian to means you a part of a community.

If you could change one thing about Mibba, what would it be and why?

There is not much to be honest. I get some lagging but that could be my internet provider. If it be anything, it would the layout maker for stories and blogs. I take forever to make a decent layout. I would just like it to be a bit more simple and easy to use.

What hobbies do you have outside of Mibba and writing?

As I am studying live events at university, seeing live music is a big thing for me. I just spent the summer doing working experience at a festival in Norway and one in the UK. I also have another blog outside of Mibba which I only started a few months ago. Oh and I like to bake when I can, I'm quite good at a Victoria sponge cake.

What are your plans for the future?

On Mibba, get a new story out which I keep promising, do more rp's and get to know some more Mibbians hopefully.

Off Mibba, graduate university next year and get a job within the music industry. And somewhere down the line get a corgi, I can't even express my love for those dogs.

Is there anything you'd like to say to all the Mibbians out there?

First and foremost, hello. Don't be afraid to get involved, we are all very welcoming people. Mibba has a great online community, all you need to do is leave a comment on a blog, story, article or review and you are getting involved. Finally, have a great day.
