Re-Introducing Clubs

There are quite a few reasons to join a writing group or a club here on Mibba. Maybe you're looking for help with your writing or simply motivation to keep writing. Maybe you're looking for like-minded Mibbians to share your passion with. Maybe you're just a little bored and looking for something to occupy your free time. Whatever the reason, if you're interested in a little group activity, Mibba's Clubs forum is the place to find it!

About the Forum

With Mibbians hailing from all over the world, in different age groups and with varying interests, it can sometimes be hard to find someone to talk to and connect with. With the goal of bringing Mibbians together and giving people a place to discuss and obsess about their favorite things, the Mibba Clubs forum is one of those places where all Mibbians are welcome and encouraged to share what they love.

There are two kinds groups you can create or join: writing groups and clubs. While clubs are general groups that focus on any shared interest – like a fandom or hobby – writing groups are exclusively creative writing-centered. Within the forum, any Mibbian can start or join any writing group or club. The topic, setup, and running of your group or club is completely up to you and your group's members.

Get Started

Whether there's an existing club that piques your interests or there's a new club you'd like to create, head over to the Clubs forum and take a peek. All of our current clubs are excellent and diverse examples of how you can start and run a club or writing group of your own, and the list of topics you can tackle are endless.

All you need to start a club or writing group is an idea and a thread. Even if you don't have an idea of who'd like to your join your club or group, don't hesitate to start it. Once you have your club or group set up, threads like Writing Group Recruits and Requests and Club Recruits and Requests are a great place to look for new members. Those threads can also be used as a place to pitch an idea for a club or group - for members who want to be a part of a specific group, but don't want the responsibility of hosting.

If you find yourself free of time this season (or anytime), Mibba's Club section is a great place to look for some entertainment, bonding, and meeting new people.
