The arena is a place where dying in your sleep is more common than living through the night, but with only one winner, survival is the least of Peeta’s worries. “Peeta” tells the story of Peeta Mellark’s adventure in the 74th annual Hunger Games. The District 12 tribute must try to survive with little food, harsh weather conditions, and predators around every corner. More importantly, it follows Peeta as he tries to protect the girl he loves.

When I read “Peeta”, I almost forgot that it was a fanfiction. The story felt as if it were being told by Suzanne Collins herself. “Peeta” is a fanfiction that is so accurate, it feels as though it could have been thrown into the book and fit within the story perfectly. Whether the story of “Peeta” is true or not, it is a great read that could answer many of the questions fans had about what happened to Peeta during the games and what he may have been thinking.

Peeta is a terrific fanfiction that I would recommend to anyone who is a fan of The Hunger Games trilogy. With its beautiful descriptions and genuine emotion, “Peeta” is sure to impress even the harshest of critics.
