"Depression? Depression? You have no idea what depression is. Depression is, your sister being diagnosed with cancer on her Sweet Sixteen birthday party. Depression is watching your sister grow more sick and sick day by day and knowing you can't do a thing to help her."

I have always been known to be extremely picky on my stories, but usually have one idea in mind: a cute, original story with a unique plot and mesmerizing characters. There have been so many novels and stories like that, but First Stop, London executes it perfectly. It tells of a story that anyone can relate to - the childish tales that stay in our heart, and the misfortunes that we never expect, all coming together into one work of art that intrigues and interests so many. Abigail and her older sister, Darcy, had dreamed of traveling the world ever since they were kids. After a terrible tragedy occurs, Abigail is determined to revive the old but extraordinary dream that she and her sister both shared.

First Stop, London only has one chapter so far, but in those words alone, the true meaning and personalities of the two sisters are shown perfectly as the chapter flickers from the vague memories to the haunting present. carlos pena's superb style of writing not only reflects on the unbreakable bond between two sisters and best friends, but the reality that life doesn't always work out, and that things like this are really happening.

This story is being updated about once a week, so make sure to check in on it! I recommend this story to anyone who wants to read a heartwarming, down-to-earth story with a lovely, original plot!
