I Wrote the Sky

Title: I Wrote the Sky
Author: daisyfairy
Type: Original Fiction
Genre: Teen
Rating: PG-13

Right from the beginning, I Wrote the Sky gets the reader hooked and continues to hold their attention as they read. This story captures not only a sense of teenage angst but also the values of friendship and togetherness. The plot follows two girls and their friendship, their less than optimistic attitudes, and the pressing issue of suicide.

The story begins with April, the narrator's best friend, wanting to go for a walk. After they walk, April reveals to her friend that she has been contemplating ending her own life. Our melancholy leading lady, Jan, writes it off at first. However, as the story pushes forward, April raises the issue several more times but is again shot within her friend's mind. Though the story is not too far along at the moment, you can see the two girls love each other as best friends should, and it's interesting to see how they're both handling their own problems without asking for too much help from the other.

As many of us on Mibba may know, daisyfairy has an exceptional talent for writing. She utilizes her ability to write effortlessly flowing paragraphs and her word choice to get reader's excited and uses her amazing gift of thought provoking lines to inspire loyalty within her readers. Among these traits, she also has a remarkable knack for things such as character interactions, believable dialogue, and most of all, making the story both realistic and emotional.

Fans of tragedy or just realistic fiction in general will eat this story up like it's dessert. I Wrote the Sky is a fascinating tale that deals not only with suicide but also subtly addresses other issues that may affect a number of us on a regular day to day basis. So, if you're ready to discover and become a big fan of a great author, this is your chance. Trust me, you will not be sorry for clicking on this story.
