Hermione had a letter from Fred. All the pain and fear of the day were forgotten as soon as she caught a glimpse of his messy, familiar scrawl. A single character sent all thoughts of death flying from her mind. She only wished she could see his face, once, to assure herself that their situation wasn't as dire as she thought.

Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley were a couple that stood the test of time. At the end of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling told of the Weasley’s and their magical children. She told of Rose and Hugo, and how Ron and Hermione couldn’t be happier to have them, but Post Script tells a different story, in which Hermione and Ron never got together, and instead, Hermione caught the eye of another Weasley.

In her fourth year, when Hermione stormed out of the Yule Ball, it was not Harry who went to comfort her. The footsteps that thudded down the hallway, landing at her side, belonged to none other than Frederick Gideon Weasley. His red hair danced in the low lights, while Hermione’s caramel curls fell softly against her face. She smiled at him, and he at her, and in that moment, everything changed.

When Fred confessed his love for her Hermione that night outside the Yule Ball, they began their whirlwind romance, which blew through them stronger than a hurricane off the gulf. Their romance bloomed quickly and fully, and they had a love unlike any other, even throughout the war.

Post Script is a beautiful fan fiction, which tells of the likely romance that could have happened between Fred and Hermione. In this story, Sree creates a believable scenario that even the biggest fans of the Ron and Hermione pairing can enjoy. With its incredible characters, whirlwind romance, and fantastic plot, Post Script has something for everyone, and I highly recommend this amazing story.
