"A team your father bought you, I'm sure," Louis muttered bitterly. Scarlet turned her attention back to the cocky singer and glared at him. He had an unimpressed look on his face and it made her blood boil. This boy was getting on her last nerves and she was going to have to play an entire football match with him next week. She licked her lips and then reached down to grab the ball from the ground. "If you're so sure of yourself, then let's play," Scarlet challenged.

Scarlet McClain and Louis Tomlinson don’t exactly see eye to eye and when the two have to play on the same football team for a charity event, the fur starts flying. They banter and bicker as if it is some sort of sporting event. Scarlet doesn’t really mind Louis, but he just keeps picking at her and it drives her insane. She continuously tries to prove herself to him; she can play football just as good as he can and she can drink him under the table too. There’s just something about her though that Louis can’t stand, but after an hour of playing football things begin to change. He starts to think maybe she isn’t all bad.

In this One Direction fan fiction - focusing mainly on Louis - you get to see all his sass and feisty attitude unwind against fun-loving Scarlet McClain. Skylight Madness has created a fun story that you won’t be able to stop until the end, or well until you hit the last chapter that is. We’ve all been or at least witnessed those relationships were the boy is mean, but that means he likes you. It doesn’t seem to be very different in this story as Louis pushes Scarlet, she pushes right back and soon the two are finding a common ground with each other.

Now this story is only in its beginning stages, but Skylight Madness is a frequent updater and keeps every chapter fun and sassy. If you are a fan of Louis Tomlinson of One Direction this story is definitely one you need to put on your must read list. Get into the sauciness, laugh a little, and watch the romance unfold. Let the games begin, McClain vs. Tomlinson, who will win?
