Glass Cutter, the Oliver Sykes Fanfiction, definitely has demonstrated that the world of Fanfiction can reach incredible heights. The story focuses on Amanda, a shy, introverted girl who lives in the shadow of the popular group of girls she calls her friends. It all changes when in the first day of her senior year she finds herself seated next to Oliver Sykes, a boy who not only has a reputation around town, but has also dated Amanda’s best friend.

Soon enough, Amanda realizes that Oliver is more than meets the eyes, discovering a world that she brushes against everyday of her life. She learns how to view the world with different eyes and finds a reason to be and become.

A lot of times as I read throughout the novel I couldn’t help but forget where I was and what I was supposed to do before I began to read. Glass Cutter sucked me in like no other story in Mibba has done before.

I highly recommend Glass Cutter for both Fanfiction readers and Original readers. The development of the characters, the roundness of them and the smoothness of the dialogue will leave every reader thirsty for more. It truly is a piece worth reading.
