She Will Be Loved

Jacob Black is a name that those who love the Twilight saga are familiar with. Introduced as a normal teenage boy who is a member of the Quileute tribe, he soon became a part of the supernatural world when he turned out to be a shapeshifter in New Moon, the second novel of the saga.

On the other end of the supernatural world are the Cullens, a coven of vampires who feed off of animals and keeping their identity a secret as they co-exist alongside humans. In She Will Be Loved, the newest member of the Cullen family isn't Jasper anymore but rather Quinn Hurley-Cullen, a human whom they adopted when she was five years old. Unlike her siblings, Quinn is average and not a vampire even though she knows her family's secret and is okay with it.

She Will Be Loved is about one girl trying to live up to her "perfect" family's image while struggling to cope with problems at school, including bad grades. A tutor programme pairs her with Jacob Black but neither are aware of just how that pairing will affect their lives. Aishiteruyo. portrays each and every character beautifully, from Edward Cullen as the protective older brother to the brilliant relationship that each of the other Quileute boys have with each other, as emphasised with their banter. Throughout the seventeen current chapters, Aishiteruyo. has kept the reader interested through her characterisation and plot, something which I've enjoyed greatly.
