“So, you think that I can only get slags, and I think you can’t get any girls. So, I say we have a little bet.”

“What kind of bet?”

Boys will be boys is a phrase people use to explain the many odd things that boys do and even as boys age into men, the phrase still stands true. At least it does for Chicago Blackhawks players Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane. Like most professional athletes are, the boys are competitive both inside and outside the ring, so it comes as no surprise when they make a personal bet with one another.

The bet is simple, really. The first one of the two to sleep with a girl they both deem as being "innocent" wins, but it turns out to be more difficult than the boys first imagined. At first, they're certain that their charm and good looks will get the girls' pants off faster than they can say Stanley Cup but multiple obstacles fall into the boys' paths, including the girls' more reserved personalities in the bedroom and their feelings for the girls.

Betting Odds is a wonderful romantic comedy, which sends readers on a roller coaster of emotions. Jonathan and Patrick's romantic charm and good looks make it difficult for readers to decide who to side with: them or the girls.

If you're a fan of hockey fan fictions with a lot of drama and romance, Betting Odds just might be the story you're looking for and I highly recommend it to everyone.
