Jotunheim's Child is an Avengers fan fiction which primarily features the handsome villain, Loki. In this story, young girls Jess and Emma are both fans of the Avengers film, but Jess takes her joy to a whole new level that borders on obsession, which she happily admits. She is constantly joking with Emma about how good-looking Loki is and how she could just melt all over him, and Emma usually returns it with a quick-witted quip that Jess can laugh at.

Despite Jess's unique obsession, she knows that Loki doesn't really exist which serves as the majority of the sadness she suffers from. She wants nothing more than to meet the character whom she has dreamt so much about, but she knows that it is nothing but a pipe dream - a wish that will never be granted - until one day Jess's life is turned upside down and she learns that things may not be quite what they seem.

Jotunheim's Child is completed at 42 chapters and just over 100,000 words. Though it is long, it is worth the read for anyone who is a fan of the Avengers, and especially those who have an obsession with Loki, just like Jess. The story does contain a few simple errors, but it is nothing that takes away from the read. Overall, it is a fun story that will have you reading until the very end.
